When travelling with Secret Retreats, your stay supports Asian communities and help to preserve their local environments, their traditional practices and their culture. Through your patronage of Secret Retreats, you enable farmers and fishermen to employ sustainable practices, aid funds to preserve the local environments, support local artisans and traditional crafts, and more.
Each of our Members supports their own responsible, community- and nature-focused initiatives while our collection as a whole regularly finds ways to give back.
Recently, several of our generous Members donated their magical journeys to a silent auction benefitting Assisi Hospice, the only hospice in Singapore providing compassionate, personalised and quality palliative care to adults and children with life-limiting illnesses. Founded in 1969, in 2017 the hospice moved to a new purpose-built and now serves more than 2,000 patients a year. The donated trips raised SGD 16,000 during a charity dinner for the hospice’s 50th anniversary going toward a total of SGD 1.2M raised.
