While some have been worried about Mount Agung over the past couple months, the alert was lowered from Level IV to Level III earlier this month and the potential warning zone around the volcano has been reduced to just four kilometres.
Truth be told, many members of the Secret Retreats family works and lives on the paradise island and have never been concerned as daily life has gone on uninterrupted. Visitors to the isle have dropped since the first warnings last September, however, and now that the rainy season is over soon, April, May and June will be the ideal time to explore all that Bali has to offer – without the usual crowds!
