“This place is like no other. Best in Bali! We stayed here for three nights around New Year 2016, one night in a tent and two nights in a lumbung. Everything was just very unique and perfect, from entering the property to check out. The interior design, the garden and the plants, the tatched bamboo roofs and buildings not to mention the tents and the lumbungs, the pool overlooking the jungle and the ricefield surroundings.
I would say Sandat has the friendliest staff in Bali and the supernice and friendly Italian owners have managed to create a spotless concept. The interior design and sophisticated taste just crowned it all!
Sandat is just ca 10-15 minutes drive from Ubud center and has a totally unique atmosphere; tranquility, lush, nature, green with the jungle on one side and the rice fields on the other side. The place will have their own yoga studio from spring 2016. If you’re about to book something for Ubud, don’t hesitate to go for this. You won’t regret it! We even returned after a week of traveling around Bali and spend our last days at this fantastic place. Big thumbs up to the Italian owners Emanuela and Federico!”
