“I was really looking forward to staying here having looked at the hotel website before leaving home. Sometimes the reality can be a bit of a let down but at Satri House my expectations were exceeded. The hotel is beautiful, the grounds are lush and well cared for and the decor just perfect. I adore old colonial styling and Satri House really delivers. The rooms are exquisitely decorated, tastefully furnished, clean and comfortably, and have all the amenities you require. There is no in room TV but that would not fit the ambience of Satri House and as we all know there is never anything worth watching anyway. Since we all travel with smart phones and tablets this is not a problem and there is wifi in the rooms.

The staff are all very friendly, particularly at the poolside bar where we were well looked after by Ban.

Breakfast is a la carte, which makes a nice change from having to keep going up to a buffet, with a good selection of dishes on offer. I particularly liked having a decent sized pot of tea in the morning.

As the title of the review says , I wish I were staying longer.
