What more can I say other than the Satri House other than it is a beautiful property located about 15 minutes walk from the main tourist strip in Luang Prabang, and fairly east to get to from the airport. Our room was simply stunning, and super modern looking and attractive woodwork, with a high ceiling, four poster super comfy bed, decent sized bathroom (with a large shower area) and amenities – the bed also had a mosquito net which was put down to protect you at night. In addition to that, the breakfast, which was complimentary, was absolutely outstanding and cooked to order and a delight. The staff also helped organise tours for us with private operators which were all excellent and reasonably priced, and were otherwise at hand to deal with any concerns. My only criticism (including of Laos generally) is that the WiFi did not work at all throughout my visit – its a huge problem in Laos generally, and Satri House should really look into what they can do here..Other than this slight technical issue, I cannot speak any more highly of Satri House, the staff or the experience..definitely one for the memories...
