“This hotel enjoys an idyllic location on the banks of the Mekong & everything about it is right. Our room provided a great view of the river & waking up to the dawn chorus of roosters crowing & the gentle murmur of river traffic was a delight. We were then able to move to the balcony & watch the sun rise. Our spotlessly clean room was spacious & comfortable with copious quantities of bamboo in keeping with the location. The bed was large & comfortable with an attached shower room & separate toilet.
The food at both dinner & breakfast was superb & my wife commented that her quiche & salad was one of the best she had ever eaten. I still remember the exquisite chocolate fondant. Breakfast was cooked to order so we could have as much as we wanted & nothing was wasted. Service throughout our visit was exemplary.
Outside, the hotel has a good-sized swimming pool & sauna with ample sun loungers, complete with parasols, towels & sun hats, for all the guests so there is no need to arrive early & reserve one.
We recommend this hotel unreservedly for all ages.”
