“We enjoyed our stay here very much. You can do as much or as little as you like. Our spacious room in the new bungalow faced onto the mountain ranges in the distance, over nearby Sikkim, and we could also look up to Darjeeling way above. We enjoyed our “”Bed”” coffee each morning. We visited Darjeeling, had a guided walk around the tea gardens plus walking there on our own, and a guided walk to the suspension bridge into Sikkim,followed by a very good lunch by the river. The food was very good in general, breakfast and lunch are served outside. We enjoyed the dinners in the old bungalow dining room with its huge table.Though communal dining may not be for everyone.
Lovely place to stay, once you have arrived after the grim road trip there! Recommend timing flight in so that the drive doesn’t need to be done in the dark. But worth it for a minimum 3 nights perhaps, we stayed for 5. Very much enjoyed our stay, a good end to a busy trip.”
