“From the moment you enter this resort you start to relax. The resort is well designed so you feel very secluded from other guests. We had a seaview room which was very comfortable. It was spacious and had a nice sit out area which was shaded at all times. The pool is magical with great views over the sea. We stayed for 4 nights and for most of the time we were the only guests as it was the start of the season.
I started each day with the yoga, the instructor Anil is excellent and he was patient with this beginner. The food is very good, no western food on the main menu but they did offer to create some for us – but we couldn’t resist the local dishes.
The do have indian beer and wine but no cocktails or spirits. The staff were very attentive and we were looked after very well. The spa is an oasis of calm and I recommend trying some treatments, the therapists were great.
The beach was lovely to walk along, easily accessible from the resort. It’s not a private beach so we met some very friendly locals.
I only left the resort once, for a short cycle on one of the hotel bikes which was fun. I’d love to return here and could easily stay for a week.
