“We were looking for a more traditional and authentic Balinese experience and Hotel Tugu Bali exceeded our expectations by far. The hotel overlooking Canggu beach is built from temple remains and furnished with the largest collection of Balinese antiques and artworks. The grounds were beautiful and immaculate with large, amazing, comfortable rooms. The food was beautiful at the fine-dining restaurants (this included a Japanese Restaurant, Ji). Each afternoon complimentary ‘High-tea’ with local and western delicacies was provided which we never missed! The staff were excellent – so friendly, helpful and willing to assist in any way. This was exemplified by the Manager, Jenny Bellora. The close proximity of the surf kept my husband very happy each day and I enjoyed the relaxing time spent by the pool. Canggu itself is a new and developing area in Bali and the hotel was within walking distance to lovely shops, restaurants, boutiques and a local market.
