We spent 5 nights at Tugu Bali and just fell in love with the hotel from the minute we arrived. It’s rustic elegance, historical decor and art, and exceptional staff make it the perfect place to stay on Bali’s southwest coast. Best of all, you’re far enough from the crowds of those tourist traps Kuta and Seminyak. Though the food at Tugu Bali is very good, the hotel is right across the street from a very lively beach club (though you won’t hear it) and several other beachside cafes. Most of the action in Canggu is 2 kilometers up the road, leaving you in solitude
