“We went on a Les Rives Cruise (two day cruise) and this was our overnight stop. I cannot fault this place. The swimming pool is wonderful and it’s right next to the Mekong so you have wonderful unspoilt views. While swimming I spotted a kingfisher (or similar) just perched nearby.
We enjoyed some lovely French wine with dinner and the food was very nice. I am vegetarian and I wouldn’t say it’s exceptional but there are enough options. The live music at dinner was also a wonderful touch. Breakfast was amazing – but a big risk of over ordering. The small cakes on arrival and by the pool were a lovely touch and tasted great.
Our room had a wonderful view over the Mekong. I very much wished we’d stayed longer and it is the perfect place to relax. It’s also a relatively small hotel so never feels crowded.”
