As soon as you enter the hotel grounds you can see that this is a beautifully maintained hotel and it is like stepping into a different world from the hot and busy walled city. We stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed the quiet peaceful child free atmosphere, the spacious pool (although unattended so you have to take your own water down from your room) which at times we had completely to ourselves. Breakfast was freshly prepared from the kitchen for any hot items with a small buffet of cereals, breads, fruit etc. in the air conditioned restaurant – excellent real leaf teas and fresh juices. As others have said the hotel is perfectly maintained with lovely antique furniture. For us the wifi worked well and apart from no conditioner amongst the Molton Brown toiletries it couldn’t be faulted – would stay here again in an instant.
