“From arriving at the jetty and throughout our stay everything was just perfect. The rooms are very nice, food at the restaurant delicious and service is very friendly and professional. Guided by the teachers of the Vocational Hospitality School students try to outdo each other. Nearly 50 students attend the school, a wonderful project by the non-profit Inle Heritage Foundation. Proceeds from the hotel, the restaurant, the gift shop are used to offer free education to people from the region and further away, carefully selected by their capacity to meet the demands of the hospitality business. The school is considered a benchmark in the area and beyond, the efforts of the foundation are to be admired. Many thanks to all the staff (Min, Thazin, Naing Win, Ye Wint, just to mention a few who’s names we remember) for a wonderful stay.
