“This was the second time at CFTM. The last was 15 years ago, and it was a much smaller operation (I don’t believe the backyard and pool were in operation back then and it had fewer staff), but it has lost none of its charm. The house itself is absolutely magical, a perfectly restored and preserved piece of Penang history, and it’s an amazing privilege to be able to stay there. The staff are wonderful, and little touches like personal notes and gifts of sweets make the stay even more charming. I will make a point of staying here every time I come to Penang, and I will be back a lot sooner next time.
