“This is the perfect place to relax during your visit to Myanmar. Settle in for a slower pace and just admire the scenery.
The rooms are very large and have an amazing bathroom with indoor and outdoor showers and a full tub. We had a room on the water with a lovely view of the marsh. We really enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the mornings and evenings watching the water.
The property is a long drive from the airport so be prepared for that but it’s a interesting drive.
The hotel staff is very helpful and accommodating. Use them to arrange tours of the Inle Lake area for $30-$40 dollars. We visited many of the local attractions- lotus/silk weavers, boat makers, cigar makers, cat monastery. Some have a small tour but nobody was pushy.
The restaurant on the property is very good which is great since there are few options for dinner off property due to the fact that it’s a bit of a drive to town and I don’t think the boats run after dark.
