“This was our second time in Tugu and we were again mesmerized by the magic of the place and charm of the staff. With all the changes that is happening in Bali – we were here 4 years ago, Tugu is like a bubble of culture, peace and happiness.

The rooms are simply palatial – don’t remember seeing hotel rooms as large and majestic as these. They are decorated with astonishing pieces of Indonesian art and a bed so comfortable it was hard to leave the room.

The menu of Indonesian food is simply amazing, a gourmet journey around Indonesia. If you feel like a western fare there are probably cheaper options in the area.

I strongly recommend the spa and if you can, try Ms. Kadek, she is amazing!

Above all the staff is what really makes the difference. It was great to see that many of them are still working there and they remembered my name after 4 years. Thank you Sri, Ari, Dewi, Wayan, Made Adi! They go the extra mile to make your stay the best one.
