“This ranks as one of our family’s favorite hotel stays. Rachamankha is a gorgeous, tranquil oasis that’s well located in Chiang Mai. The property is large for the middle of town, artfully filled (in a minimalist way) with antiques and good attention to detail. We loved the pool (so welcome when temperatures go above 100°) and the library. It was near capacity but it always felt uncrowded and quiet. The staff are lovely and helpful. Rooms are large and well appointed (but under air-conditioned – they could use more powerful units, and better bathroom amenities befitting a property of this type.) Breakfast is wonderful, made to order and set in a perfect, lovely courtyard. We’re already planning to return.
