Escape the hustle and bustle of downtown Saigon and head for Villa Song across the river – a beautifully designed Colonial Villa with just the right number of rooms making it feel homely and welcoming. The interior design is lovely featuring Vietnamese artwork and furnishings. The pool area is a huge plus for swimming. The staff are very courteous and whilst going through the booking process helped in numerous ways with suggestions for local trips, booking up restaurants – all very efficient. The car service to and from the airport was excellent and worth doing this. The frenetic pace of Saigon and the unfortunate pollution problems can be quite something so its nice to stay just outside for peace and sanity!!! I also noticed that the staff were especially good and accommodating to small children holidaying with their parents.
