I am confident that this will be one of the best hotel experiences of my life. The setting, designed by Thai architect Ong-ard Satrabhandhu, was gorgeous. The grounds are decorated with lovely antiques in the owner’s collection. The service was impeccable, and made the experience particularly idyllic. The pool was stunning, the breakfast immaculate. The common areas–open air reading areas with grand ceilings and beautiful furniture, the library with ceiling-high bookshelves and complimentary brandy–were exquisite. Rachamankha tops out at 26 rooms with no children under 12 allowed, which means the experience will always be serene and intimate. And the price, particularly compared to Western hotels, is completely reasonable. What are you waiting for? Book now, if you can!
