My boyfriend and I stayed at Tugu for two nights and loved the place. Excellent design and decor – very much authentic, stylish Balinese – with delicious Indonesian food, gorgeous cocktails and first class service. Some great views for the upstairs rooms, but go for the private pool villas downstairs or a room nearer the back of the hotel if you want total peace and quiet. All of the staff were absolutely lovely – so helpful and warm – and we loved the cooking course! Great pool too and lovely spa.
