We very much enjoyed our stay at this hotel. There were only 4 other couples staying, we had the pool to ourselves most of the time, the hotel is surrounded by lovely gardens/plants/trees with a giant lily pond in the grounds. Food was very nice but it is cambodian only, if you want western then you will have to go into battambang. Unfortunately you cannot get away from the party/religious music that goes on at night and early morning from the village (April is party/wedding season) but keeping the air con on all night helps to drown it out. Also dont worry about creatures jumping on the roof in the night – not sure what they were but you get used to it. Lovely staff. Would not say this is a place for families just couples.
