“Small (37 rooms), quiet, deluxe hotel on pristine white beach. The rooms are in villas and bungalows dotted throughout the extensive, well-tended gardens, which are full of intriguing Indonesian artefacts. The gardens are also full of birds, bees and at night bats – fantastic. Amazing food and lovely staff who just can’t do enough for the guests. You really are made to feel like personal guests – everyone knew our names! Great little bar – each public room has a theme and a story to be told. The Cocktail King makes fantastic cocktails; the beer and wine’s good too. Our beachfront villa was large with a fantastic private pool. There was even a fishpond in the villa’s front garden. The huge bed was really comfortable and the shower-room/bathroom was amazing. Useful touches include ample space for clothes, loads of towels, bathrobes and slippers.
Really loved the place. Can’t recommend it highly enough.
