“We were looking for a secluded spot near Ubud, but not in the heart of the action and that was good for families. We have two small children (infant and 2 year old). The Matthis retreat was perfect for us. It was a quick taxi ride to downtown Ubud OR a long walk. The rooms were excellent for 3 adults and two young children. Pool was nice a cool and deep! My daughter loved to walk out along the rice paddy’s and look at the ducks!
Room Tip: Our room did not have a view, but there was a section that did.”
