“Canggu is a fun part of Bali, it’s a great mix of being on the water as well as being very laid-back and hip (like Ubud and unlike Kuta). And Tugu is one of the oldest properties there – but they seem quite contemporary in a ‘here’s what classic Bali architecture is like’ way. You can’t go wrong if you don’t mind paying the Tugu prices.
The rooms are really nice and unique, and designed well. It’s a hop-skip-jump to the beach. My only complaint would be that Friday night parties on the beach tend to be really loud, but hey, it’s the beach.
Super service, and awesome staff. What a breakfast!
Room Tip: See if you can get the ones with a view of the sea”
