“I loved Satri House – the rooms and public areas are stunning. I loved the antiques and art work and the gardens. It felt like an exquisitely restored home rather than a hotel. The rooms are dark, and the floors do creak (upstairs), but this is because the hotel is in an old house. I wanted to move in. I also thought the staff were lovely and I liked the location. It was in a quiet area away from the main tourist streets, but a very short walk to them.
