“An unforgettable stay. The staff is warm, friendly, beyond accommodating and truly gracious. The property is gorgeous — beginning with the stunning lobby that will make your jaw drop the moment you enter. Historic Balinese details are strewn throughout the decor, and the room we stayed in had the feel of a colonial-era suite. Comfortable and modern amenities (the bed is top notch!). The food was fantastic — our breakfasts, in particular, were always the perfect way to start the day.
The area itself is a surfer community, so it’s a little livelier (and younger) than other parts of Bali that we visited. The beach is nice, though not exactly low-key and relaxing (if you’re a surfer, it’ll be right up your alley). Some very nice restaurants, bars and boutiques within walking distance.
Overall, we loved our time here. We can’t say enough about the service and the friendliness of the staff/management. They took care of us in every way and we will most certainly be back the next time we’re in Bali.”
