“On the journey down to Glenburn I was rather wishing we had just stayed in Darjeeling ...and then we arrived. From the moment we stepped out of the car I was smitten! There was a lovely warm welcome from Jemima and Glenburn itself is the most beautiful place, it feels straight from the pages of an upmarket magazine. The house is full of the most beautiful textiles and furnishings and the views are to die for. We had lunch under the pomelo tree – and what a treat to be able to eat salads after 3 weeks in India. The food is delicious, fresh and unusual and different at every meal. All the staff were lovely and Jemima organised everything seamlessly and with a smile. I would go back again in an instant.
