“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We had a garden room rather than a lake room, but still beautiful. There’s no tv in the rooms, but who needs that? It was just so peaceful. Great pool, bar and restaurant too and the staff were more than ready to help out with anything. I have coeliacs and the restaurant staff were happy to make something special for me, although that wasn’t required as the food on their daily changing menu gave me lots of options. We were there late January and most of the other guests (and the staff) seemed to think the mornings and evenings were cold. Not for us. While the temperature was a little more temperate than other parts of Myanmar, we were perfectly comfortable without long sleeves and scarves, but I suppose that’s a subjective experience.
Room Tip: You could probably pay more and get a lake view room, but it’s not necessary.”
