We visited Chaing Mai in early November, 2017. Travelling were my wife and I, plus our son and his wife. We booked a two-room suite for 4 nights at Rachamankha and were absolutely delighted with everything about this wonderful hotel. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very spacious. Beds are comfortable and the bathrooms spotlessly clean and modern. The buildings and grounds are gorgeous and the pool and public spaces are very inviting and provide a relaxing retreat after a busy day of visiting temples, markets, and the many other sites in and around Chaing Mai. The complimentary breakfast is fabulous and we were warmly greeted each morning by Ahwu who, along with the rest of the staff, provided excellent service. The location in a relatively quite corner of the old city couldn’t be more convenient for walking or riding. As a bonus, it’s just around the corner from SP Chicken which serves the most delicious (and inexpensive) grilled chicken ever! I would most certainly stay at Rachamankha again and recommend it to anyone visiting Chaing Mai.
