From the moment we arrived here, we knew we’d be experiencing something very special. We felt privileged to be staying in such a sensitively preserved example of 19th century local architecture and absorbed as much as we could of the peaceful atmosphere and beautiful decor. We felt warmly welcomed by staff throughout our stay and they were so helpful in communicating with us and returning items we’d left behind in our haste to catch a flight. Personal touches to our rooms were a delight and looking back at our trip to Malaysia this summer, we all agreed our stay in Georgetown – and indeed the Cheong Fatt Tze (Blue) Mansion – was the highlight to our holiday.
