“So it’s tops on the list for some good reasons. We arrived late, but the staff was alert and quick to welcome us with a cool watermelon drink after a long drive. The room is comfortable, although the lighting scheme was a bit of a challenge to figure out. The fresh fruit and complementary mini-bar, complete with soy milk, was a very welcome touch. So what happened to the ironing board and iron? I unpacked my clean, but wrinkled shirt hoping to touch it up before church the next day only to discover they did not offer what the competitors did on that front. But maybe complementary ironing of a few articles will be on their offerings soon.
Breakfast was a delight and the staff again congenial. We like the location but didn’t have the chance to try the complementary river launch service to downtown. Perhaps next time.”
