“We can entirely recommend this resort – in fact I can’t think of a single criticism (except that wifi could be better, but that is true of everywhere in Myanmar. Give it time)
The setting is lovely – the hotel insists that all boats arrive rowed with their motors off to keep the tranquility, which also means there is lovely bird life to observe.
Food is delicious – and you can see their carefully tended organic vegetable garden.
There are lots of little touches that make a difference – the personal welcome note on handmade paper, the mosquito repellant at dinner, the bikes, the little appetiser at dinner....
They say they are conscious of conservation and we saw evidence of that. plus the staff here seem genuinely happy
