“I am an architect and have very unique houses of our own that we rent, so I am extremely particular when it comes to staying elsewhere. We decided to escape Ubud for Gili Air for Jaime’s birthday. Wow! We had a perfect romantic birthday getaway and honestly had a super hard time leaving our beautiful villa at Slow. Slow is carefully designed, with attention paid to all the small details that matter to a designer like me. It is comfy and extremely romantic and private. We felt like we were in our own private oasis. The staff was wonderful and prepared a birthday song for Jaime in 3 different Indonesian Languages. So sweet! We had a lovely massage at their stunning spa. The breakfast was yummy and a feast for the eyes and I love their handmade dishes. I have a sense of what other accommodations are available on Gili and I would never consider staying anywhere else. Huge praise for SLOW!
