Neeleshwar Hermitage is a place to take time out and relax. It is situated on the Arabian Sea, miles of empty beach and palm trees. The Rooms are comfortable and private. There are two restaurants, one in the main building and more formal, the second is set on the sand, under the palm trees facing the sea. Delicious food. I had a cookery lesson and was shown how to make dishes within five minutes which suited the individual’s taste. The town was quite close by and we reached this by tuk tuk. There was also a gorgeous spa where I indulged in aromatherapy and reflexology and a discussion with a doctor on diet and general health. We also had a cruise on the Lotus, and old rice boat, which had been converted into a beautiful houseboat. The houseboat was a five minute drive from the Heritage. Strongly recommended. A wonderful visit.
