The Cabochon Hotel and Residence: "A genuine oasis in bkk"
"Myself and my friend stayed for 4 nights in cabochon hotel, bkk from 27th October to 31st October 2017. The hotel is a true oasis in the busy city of Bangkok. We had a twin room, and upgraded to a queen suite, as we wanted a balcony. The bed was supremely comfortable and pillows /linen was good quality, we slept really good. Usual amenities, but they was in large bottles not silly little bottles, making it easier, big thumbs up for that. Safe, hairdryer, robes and slippers. AC was excellent in the heat and humidity. We had breakfast and an evening meal which was lovely. The staff were very helpful and welcoming, agreed to allow us to leave big cases there whilst we have come to Phuket for 6 nights. No worries. Really helpful for us. The cabochon is a beautiful place with a rooftop pool quiet and big enough to take a dip, even swim. You won't be disappointed if you choose cabochon Hotel, I would definitely recommend it and would be happy to stay again. Thanks for a great start to our time in Thailand."NEELESHWAR HERMITAGE: "Heavenly Retreat!"
"Elegant, tasteful and spiritual haven. A wonderful end to an amazingly busy and eventful tour.We left feeling rejuvenated and fully refreshed having enjoyed the wonderfully comfortable and harmonious ambience. The attention to detail and care taken at every level contributes to the magic of this place. With only twelve cottages, we were given personal service and attention of the highest order. The breakfasts served at the beach cafe are beautifully presented and delicious. In the evening we enjoyed supper under the stars at the beach cafe too…eating freshly caught fish and sea food."Satri House: "Marvellous holidays"
"Satri House, a Prince's house with style, elegance and charm. Delightful garden. Spacious room with private terrace and garden. The fresh mandarine juice, the croissants and the jams made by the "" Satri's Mother "" are unforgettable. The service is irreproachable. Simply marvellous. Simply Lao. Philippe from belgium"Supanniga Eating Room: "Fab authentic Isaan food, in comfortable premise"
"It's easy to find average thai food in Bangkok, but this place has consistently served up high quality Isaan food, in an atmospheric building with super helpful staff. It's not cheap but as varied and interesting as street food It's tough to find - go to thong lor and the up the Soi about 400 m. It is just before the 8ight shopping centre. You have to look hard as it is Narrow, 4 storey Building with the sign hidden by power cables in the street Book a table as I was disappointed once - this place is very popular with Locals and expats especially at weekends The food is derived from Isaan favourites and put together by grandma! I can say that everything we tried was outstanding. Particular favs were the Isaan sausage, fab red and green curries, noodles. One friend said this was the best restaurant he had ever been to - big call. Enjoy"Jing’s Residence: "Why did we stay only one night?"
"Actually, the answer to the question in the title of this review is that we didn't have more time to spend on holiday. Our greatest mistake was not having two nights at this lovely hotel. Imam at reception was kind and welcoming. He made us feel right at home. The room was gorgeous and the courtyards of the hotel are lovely. The hotel is so quiet - it was the best night sleep we had the whole holiday! The breakfast was off a menu and the choices were both Chinese and Western. And both of our choices were delicious. We also decided to eat dinner at the hotel. It was ""upscale"" pricewise, but the food was excellent and well presented. We also were able to try some of the local dishes which we would have missed out on if we were just wandering the streets. We would recommend this hotel to anyone - and we hope that one day we will find ourselves back in the Jing Residence.... "Reverie Siam Pai: "Truly wonderful"
"We visited his little paradise, and were amazed by the beauty of the hotel, the surroundings and the friendliness of staff. If you need a retreat and a calm place to stay, you have definitely found the right place. The bathrooms are just unbelievably beautiful. Will be back, without a doubt."Rachamankha: "a superb accommodation in CM"
"We held our wedding and stayed at this beautiful property last month. We have booked two suite rooms facing the library garden (if you know where the hidden library is) and a few superior rooms. Our family and guests loved the peaceful and oriental ambience of the property. Located in the old city, waling distance to Wat Pra Singh, Oasis Spa Lanna and Sunday night market. only 10-15mins drive to the airport. If you would like to stay away heavy touristy area and would like to enjoy the resort indulgence and retreat, this could be an option. If anyone is also considering a destination wedding at non-beach location in Thailand, highly recommended!! The hotel does not offer a package but will customise according to your needs and preference. We would like to thank you for Rachamankha to have made our big day successful and memorable! We would love to visit and stay on our anniversary day again! Please note that the hotel does not allow a child under 12 years though. Stayed February 2017, traveled as a couple"Rachamankha: "Sublime sanctuary in the old city"
"Our stay at Rachamankha was everything we'd hoped. As you approach it through the narrow lanes and busy traffic it's hard to believe that such a tranquil spot can exist in the middle of the old city. From the moment you drive in, it's like coming home. No big swanky reception and lobby area, just a discreet desk and a warm welcome when you check in. The whole complex takes some exploring - I'd recommend asking them to show you all the facilities when you arrive (we were still finding our way around by the end of our stay). Rooms are lovely and private - the bathrooms are probably not up to such a high standard (shower is quite small by comparison) but not a deal breaker. The pool area, restaurant and bar are pretty close to perfect. Breakfast has so many choices it's a bit bamboozling some days. We could have quite easily stayed within Ranchmankha and not explored Chiang Mai at all - just lazing around the pool was idyllic. Thoroughly recommend this as a place to stay - you won't regret it!"Tugu Bali: "Special Place"
"We recently enjoyed an exceptional stay at the Tugu Bali with our family. Every element of our stay was outstanding starting with the most friendly staff. Always with a smile, going beyond to ensure our total satisfaction and understanding of this unique cultural hotel. We highly recommend the Tugu Bali, a very special place to stay !
