"Lovely break after the heat of the temples. About 4-5 hours trip by car from Phnom Penh but worth the journey From the welcome drink on arrival to the staff coming to the jetty to wave us goodbye when we left it was a great few days. Lovely staff and great food. The tents are very large and very well fitted out. (Nothing like the tents I remember from girl guiding)We had intended to go to the waterfall but it was so relaxing sitting on our deck watching the river we did not bother but everyone else really enjoyed the trip. We had a massage which was very reasonable, ask for the gentle version!!! The staff were lovely my husband has mobility problems and everyone was really helpful If you visit Cambodia and have the time visit Four Rivers you will have a great time"Maison Polanka: "We felt very privileged…"

It is not a hotel; no room number, you take off your shoes before entering your room, someone comes to you with a cold scented towel when entering the property after a walk, a waiter brings you a glass of water when sitting in the garden... Everything is organized to make you feel like you are a special guest! Cathy the manager understands your expectations and is totally dedicated to her job and to make you feel special. (...) The house is authentic, full of charm and character. The garden is amazing and the large pool is warm and always clean. It's a romantic place This place us right in the middle of the rice fields, impressive nature the only noise you get here is from the nature, green all around. "Just returned from my sixth visit and again it was just perfect. This probably explains why 10 out of 15 bungalows were occupied by repeat visitors. The surroundings are beautiful. We went here on route from Agra to Jaipur! Was a great opportunity to sample Indian village life and get away from all the tourist and city stuff! We were very well looked after and had a memorable camel cart ride through the village, getting to meet lots of the local children! A great dining experience with a good degustation menu - a unique Thai-influenced menu with great wine pairings. Sadly located in a hidden back lane in the city. I had trouble trying to locate the place and found my way walking there a little unsafe.Maison Polanka: "An oasis of calm"

Es geht nicht besser. Eine wunderschöne Anlage. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im ersten Stock mit Mekongblick. Unser Zimmer war geräumig und praktisch eingerichtet. Der Boden hätte etwas sauberer sein können. Vielleicht wurde nicht feucht gewischt? Bei unserem Einzug waren die Fächer recht staubig. Wir haben sie vor dem Einräumen ausgewischt. Der Service war ansonsten einwandfrei. Gerade auch im Restaurant. Die beiden Pools sind sehr schön, es sind ausreichend viele Liegen vorhanden.David’s Kitchen: "Best food and service!"
I would say this restaurant is the best restaurant that I ever had. I had a high expectation before I go because TripAdvisor award it as one of the best fine dining restaurant in the world. It ended up even exceed my expectation. I like every dishes that we ordered. All the waiters and waitress had very high standard of service. I will definitely come back again if I visit Chiang Mai again! And I would highly recommend my friends to go if they visit chiang Mai.
