Luxury food from local grounds. We received 10 snacks before the actual 7 course menue! They chief really managed to surprise us with overall 17 very different tastes. It’s not a place where you go to eat one dish. But it’s the perfect place to experience a huge variety of tastes. Inle Heritage hotel is one of the best boutique hotels in Myanmar. Not only offers superb accommodation (only six stilt bungalows for the guests) in a beautiful environment, but the owner offers every year free courses related to tourism industry to Burmese students from the area. The stuff was sweet and helpful , most of them graduates from hotel's academy. They also produce their own vegetables which they use in the restaurant. "This is a small, fairly unassuming restaurant located in a lovely outdoor garden in the shade of a house in Siem Reap. It is easy walking distance to several large hotels on the outskirts of town. The menu is labeled ""fusion"", meaning that the flavor axis is Cambodian, but presentation styles and cooking techniques seemed to draw from other world cuisines. Nevertheless, the food was fabulous (and I'm picky). Prices were very reasonable. The Khmer curry was incredible. There is an a la carte menu, a fixed menu and a vegan menu."Satri House: "Une merveille"

This is a great resort. My wife and I travel a bit and this was is the finest place we have stayed. We were there for 2 nights. Fantastic views from our room of the Mekong and while having meals. The reception arranged for a nice tuk tuk driver to take us to the nearby ruins of Champasak and to Champasak to have lunch on the river and to see the early 20th century 'palace' for the king of Champasak. The food at the hotel and the staff are great. We arrived at the Pakse bus terminal and a vehicle from the resort was there pick us up. We hope to return here, just to relax.Rachamankha: "magical"

After a long, hot day visiting temples, driving up to the front gates of Maison Polanka was a welcome relief. You knew from the moment you stepped through the gates, you would be well taken care of and be in an oasis of green. The staff treated us like long lost family and knew all our names from the moment we arrived. Our room (purple room) was spacious and well appointed with a great shower. It was clean and perfect. Meals by the pool were peaceful and delicious. There was really no reason to leave to go for meals. The swimming pool was small but the perfect place to cool off. My son (10yrs) was entertained by the bunnies and puppy and wandered the property freely. The tours and tuk tuks that were arranged were fantastic and reasonably priced. All in all, a great experience.Dewakan: "Top of the World"
3 Michelin stars ! We ordered only the 5 course menu, but they served at least 4 more dishes as complimentary. Dewakan is a must, if you have the opportunity to visit. My pictures shall tell the rest …
