Stayed for 4 nights last month & enjoyed it immensely. The location could not be bettered if you are interested in visiting the old city. We found our room rather small but beautifully presented. Unique in Bangkok, unique anywhere
I’ve been coming here since Narisa Chakrabongse opened her riverside palace to guests, and there is nothing at all comparable in Bangkok — an Italianate palace built as a retreat from court life by a Thai Prince. Opposite is Wat Arun, a short stroll is Wat Po. The staff, the service, the food wonderful.

My three day stay was such a heavenly treat. Behind the gate lay a tranquil escape from the exciting but tiring streets outside. Wonderful rooms with lovely staff and freshly cooked thai food to die for. All that and a midnight swim under a crescent moon!!
