tugu bali: "Amazing accommodations"
"We absolutely LOVED Tugu hotel in Canggu. The location is perfect, the service is AMAZING and the food was delicious. The suites are breathtaking, ours came with a fruit basket of local fruit. The bathroom was half outdoors, filled with flowers and was surrounded by a Koi pond with a beautiful ladle to pour water traditionally. We also had a private pool in our back yard which was a tropical paradise. You have amazing options for seating indoors or out when dining, and the complimentary afternoon tea was diving. "Nimmu House: "Amazing retreat, fine food and service"
"This incredible property is the perfect place to base a Ladakh itinerary from. We spent our first 4 days there to acclimatize. Tents are very luxurious and were perfect for our family of four. The property has a 'Provence in Ladakh' feel to it. Very European. All staff were wonderful. It felt like we had forged new friendships that will endure. Food is incredibly fresh and was a real highlight for us. The hotel staff helped to make all arrangements for activities - and there's a lot to do in the area!! I really cant recommend this property high enough. It is one of the best that we have stayed in in many years."Misool Eco Resort: "Wonderful vacation"
"We visited for 7 nights and had a wonderful time. The diving was exceptional. My wife and I have about 80 dives from Fiji, Bali and the Caribbean, so we are experienced but not experts. The dive team was fantastic and the sites themselves were the best we have been to by far. All close by. The resort does much more than talk about ""eco"" . They are dedicated and it shows in almost all that goes on. Food was great, accommodations were comfortable and the staff is very helpful, I went and got a pot of coffee the first morning to bring back to our porch and the next day they brought it to us at 6:30 am. It is not a luxurious, stuffy, place but very comfortable and unique in the world. We had water cabin 5 and I think it would be my choice in the future because it is sheltered from the afternoon sun but my wife thought water cabin 8 would be preferable because it is a little more private ( it gets the sun in the afternoon though) We will go back sometime for sure."Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "A Wonderful Wildlife Safari ro remember forever"
"We were a big family comprising 3 generations, mostly inexperienced campers plus one passionate elephant keeper/ animal conservationist,,and we arrived to a warm welcome which included delicious cold drinks and towels. Very welcome after a long drive from Ella .Right from the start of my research into a safari into Yala NP over a year ago, I had a special feeling that this safari was going to be a huge highlight of our big family trip to Sri Lanka. Wonderful pre trip communication with Sophie and Noel, and then we met Sajit, Praneeth , Damien and the rest of the wonderful team. Our great, comfortable tents ( I could even use the outdoor shower at first go ), delicious, varied food. We had 3 picky children, a 15 yr old vegan and all the rest, and we loved ALL the food. Great get togethers in the communal areas, with those G&Ts and Tiger beer. What can I say about the fantastic expertise of Sajit and his team. We learnt about animal alarm calls, Sajit provided us with a priceless example of using them to spot a glorious leopard in the fading dusk light. Of course when you go on safari you hope to see the prized animals, and we sure did, but we also learnt about the expertise and experience required to locate these majestic creatures. We also loved the colourful birds, mongoose, jackals , peacocks and the stunning varied landscapes. 2 dawn safaris, 2 dusk safaris, a bear, elephants, numerous deer, families of monkeys, and miraculously a few sightings of leopards. An experience of a lifetime, We Thank you All from the bottom of our hearts, A true highlight of our trip, and we hope to return and have recommended you to family and friends. Kind Regards from Jennifer, Juris and family. Room Tip: The best safari tents, great beds and very adequate amenities."Tugu Bali: "Paradise within Paradise"
"My husband and I were gifted an incredible trip to Bali. We stayed 4 nights at Hotel Tugu Bali and it was the best choice possible for lavish relaxation! We were treated like a king and queen from the moment we departed immigration. Picked up at the airport with refreshments waiting for the journey in to Canggu. The hotel staff were kind and gracious and attentive at every turn. Our room, Rejang suite, was amazing. Each night we were literally lulled to sleep with ocean sounds as we slept in a perfectly comfortable king size bed! Perfect for a relaxing rest for two tired teachers! We ate breakfast in our room and in the hotel lobby overlooking the beach. We walked in Canggu and enjoyed the shopping and some cool food. At night, we ate in the Amazing Japanese restaurant Ji - the food was heavenly and so good we kept coming back! We had a super cool cocktail and the kobe style beef was to die for! The restaurant is in the most amazing rebuilt temple over 300 years old. If you come to Bali, you have to come to Hotel Tugu and do not miss out on Restaurant Ji. The entire stay was relaxing. And on that note - book a massage because they are gifted in that area as well!! Thanks Hotel Tugu! We will be back and tell all our friends about our amazing stay with you! Room Tip: We stayed in a suite. Rejang! Definitely an excellent choice!"Villa Song Saigon: "Magic amongst the Mayhem"
"Villa Song is on the river away from the manic mayhem of Saigon, we loved it. I would not liked to have stay in Saigon itself, its very noisy, dirty and smelly at Villa Song we had the best of both worlds. A boat takes guest back and forth to the city so its easy to get to any of the sights fairly easily. It suitated in an area that has a number of International Schools and there are some reasonalbe resturants and and shop. We chose to eat at the hotel as we were only there for three nights and it was a joy to sit by the river and watch life go by. The food was delicious and resonably priced for good quality fare. Our room had a small balcony and was very comfortable. Breakfast was delcious and plentiful. An excellent stay."Villa Song Saigon: "One very happy customer"
What a pleasure to stay in your wonderful villa and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. A beautiful hotel which isn't too fussy with protocol which looks after your every need. The breakfast are a delight and the restaurant serves delicious food.Slow Villas and Spa: "Unique hideaway"
"During my stay in Gili Air I was unfortunate with the weather. It was probably the biggest rain I've witnessed on this lovely little island but arriving to Slow villas made it all disappear. Receptionist welcomed me with a smile that almost brought out the sun again. The manager escorted me to my villa holding an umbrella for me. Got to love that. Villa was exquisite from top to bottom. Beautifully finished little details gave me ""wow"" moments throughout the whole stay. You could order almost everything you wanted from the reception so the remote location and bad weather wasn't an issue. And the breakfast....fantastic!! Many different options to choose from and everything served in a way that just makes you want to have breakfast for lunch and dinner as well. A perfect getaway. My favorite piece of paradise."Slow Villas and Spa: "A very private and very chic hideout that is difficult to beat"
"We stayed in Slow Vilas last week of July 2016. Tucked away in a more remote part of Gili Air, Slow was the perfect place that combines desert-island and experience with locals and the highest quality of comfort, local antique furnishing and charm. We felt Slow was right at the other end of the spectrum of an impersonal resort, where everything is designed to work with the local community, local taste and eco-friendliness. The hard-working expat' Julie running the place has a strong enough personality to transmit her energy and passion for her desert-island project / concept into her guests ; while making sure that everything is run to the highest standards to keep everyone happy. This is truely one not to be missed. Island-bliss..."Rachamankha: "Luxury Oasis in Middle of Chiang Mai — Superb Value"
The Rachamankha hotel is an oasis in the middle of Chiang Mai, Thailand. My wife and I stayed there for three nights as part of a southeast Asia tour. The hotel grounds are fabulous and peaceful. The break fast was outstanding and a great way to start any day. The value for the price was superb. I highly recommend this hotel.Travel Asia with Secret Retreats
