Pindaya Farm House: "Fantastic"
It was our last day in Myanmar just before flying to Yangoon and back home. It was exactly the place we were looking for after visiting and staying at different hotels around Myanmar. The location and the big hut are magical, look and feel as if inside a legend. The warm hospitality and the great food made us feel at home. unfortunately we stayed there 1 night only. Unlike other hotels on the lake, as your motor boat nears the resort, the motor is stopped and a local rows the boat in using his right thigh! That was definitely a unique experience for us but it also contributed to our resort being quiet and restful. We were greeted warmly and escorted to our private chalet, which had a beautiful living area, a veranda overlooking the lake, a large bathroom with bath tub and an outdoor shower. We definitely felt pampered during our one night at this wonderful resort. The dinner and our buffet breakfast the next morning did not disappoint. My husband and I have travelled extensively and this hotel was just the most beautiful we've ever visited. As soon as you enter the courtyard, you can feel the calming effect of the style and decor which are so lovely. Our room was a deluxe situated on the second floor. The attention to detail in the room was stunning; a king sized four poster bed, high airy ceilings and antique Chinese clothes chest. It was immaculately clean and the toiletries provided in the lavatory were top quality products. There was a very large swimming pool with comfortable lounges and umbrellas plus it was tucked into a private spot and very quiet. Breakfast was delicious with a variety of choices on the menu. This is a lovely hotel and Lake Inle is a beautiful and fascinating place. The main reason I wanted to write a review is that the hotel now has a swimming pool which has not been mentioned before. It was just completed as we were staying there and we were allowed to swim in it even though construction of changing rooms is on going. The pool is at the back of the hotel looking on to fields and adds yet another reason to stay in this wonderful place. Lake view rooms are very special allowing sunset watching from one's own deck.Dewakan: "interesting restaurant"

I stayed here for 4 nights. The hotel is idyllic, calm and peaceful. The architecture and grounds are stunning and perfect for relaxation. I loved the lounge area which was ideal to relax in after a day's sightseeing in Chiang Mai. I was delighted by breakfast - well made, great choice and beautifully dressed tables which made for a lovely start to the day. Rooms are spacious and decorated with antique furniture. The bathroom could do with some updating. I also ate in the restaurant one evening - there were not many guests so quiet but the northern Thai food was delicious. The service at the hotel was great. My stay in Rachamanka really made for a great trip to Chiang Mai - loved it !Tugu Bali: "Wonderful, warm reception"
Excellent home base for our first few nights in Bali. Wonderful cooking right at the lodge. We were impressed by our spacious room and the beautiful reception areas and pools. Great location, great chef, wonderful team. Coming to Saigon and want to experience one of asia's great but chic and small hotels? You could do a lot worse than this place. "Just 18 bungalows/rooms, each beautifully and comfortably furnished with their own semi-outdoor bathrooms. Efficient air conditioning. Spa with a range of treatments and massages. An endless white sand beach. Good sized pool although more sunloungers might be a good idea. Yoga centre. Two restaurants to choose from: one on the beach which is especially fabulous at breakfast. Fresh seafood and lots of local dishes too. And everything is set in beautiful gardens. A truly relaxing place to stay. absolutely good, loved the rooms, stayed with my husband and 2 kids, good connecting rooms, nice garden and the terrace has a beautiful view on the Mekong river with the boats during day and especially afternoon with sunset. Always interesting! breakfast is on the menu and no buffet but good choice, very good coffee! My kids loved the big pool and the 15 minute boat ride to town!
