4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Simply amazing and unforgettable"

Review by: Melsy1 | Source: Trip Advisor
"We stayed in tent 6 north for 2 nights...we do have regrets about our stay. And that is basically the fact that we didn't stay longer. This place is beautiful. A friendly welcome on arrival as we then took a boat ride to the resort. Having just come from Phnom Penh the first thing that hits you is the calmness. A further friendly and informative welcome once we reached the resort. We arrived mid afternoon and took advantage of the wonderful food and sipped a couple of beers on the deck in front of our superb accommodation. The sheer size of the tents and the comfort factor and ammenities available are fantastic. I loved the fact you could unzip the tent to allow you to see the beautiful surroundings at all times. As well as allowing a subtle breeze. The fans provided help with the heat and humidity and the bed is large and comfortable. I love how EVERYTHING moves with the flow of boats passing or people walking on the walkways. Dinner choices are required in advance where you can choose the set menu of the day or simply pick what you like from the standard menu. Breakfast choices are also required in advance. The food is very tasty and the restaurant staff very polite and efficient. We enjoyed a trip to the waterfall. Our 2 guides and boat driver were very good and also great fun. Very interesting to hear how they now have jobs at the resort having been poachers. We arrived prior to anyone else and it was great. The water is warm to swim and the scenery gorgeous. Butterflies everywhere and of course the flowing falls. Fried rice cooked fresh on boar for lunch which was delicious. A thunderstorm started upon our return boat trip..I'm not good with lighting and I'll never forget the guides 'ducking' and 'cowaring' with each lightning strike...when I saw what damage the lightning strikes had caused to their coconut trees you'd understand why. Thankfully after watching the rain fall with such force into the river as we arrived back it stopped. We went on the free trip to see the fire flies. Stunning and so bizarre that they all congregate to one tree..it flashes like a Christmas tree...but it much more beautiful...and the stars...in such darkness the stars are so bright. We were off to Kep after here and were so glad to be given the choice of when we departed. 8am 10am or 12pm. We went with the later time so to optimise our time. Using this to take a leisurely breakfast and to take the kayaks out for a paddle round the island. We saw rhinoceros hornbills and archer fish. Highly recommend 4 rivers. Long may it stay exactly as it is"

MesaStila: "Simply Paradise"

Review by: Stephanie F | Source: Trip Advisor
Surrounded by nature you reside in beautiful and authentic houses that just invite you to dream. The service is great, everybody is very friendly, the food is incredible and we felt truly spoiled. Start your day with a tasty breakfast and a healthy juice from the medicine lady (we just loved her), then visit the coffee plantation with a very charming guide and enjoy some hot bananas and end the day by chosing a tasty meal at the restaurant. Make sure you leave room for dessert. Furthermore, the guide from the hotel that accompanied us to Semarang guaranteed for a perfect day outside the hotel. We had a wonderful time and could really relax. It is also worthwile to book a spa session. The Hamam is incredible and the place is so lovely decorated. All I can say is that this place is truly Paradise.

The River Resort: "Wonderful surprise"

Review by: John G | Source: Trip Advisor
Stayed several days at The River Resort. About as nice an experience as one could imagine. Food terrific, staff wonderful, rooms very comfortable... a great place to stay if you are visiting southern Laos. This is a unique and special resort, one that you won't regret.

Tugu Malang: "An absolutely marvellous hotel"

Review by: lizry | Source: Trip Advisor
Stayed here 2 nights and wanted to move in! The hotel has a wonderful collection of artefacts and antiques. Could spend hours just looking at them. The staff were absolutely fantastic and couldn't do enough for us. The room was beautiful and spacious with a lovely bathroom. The pool area is exceptional surrounded by greenery. There is even a wonderful boutique with fantastic service. Food and presentation was wonderful. If I have to make any adverse comment (and it's very minor) is that I had a pot of tea first morning (very welcome as being British I drink a lot of tea) but only cups on second morning.

Reverie Siam Pai: "Impeccable service with Kind thoughts from Management"

Review by: Happyzeus2019 | Source: Trip Advisor
"The location is situated with quiet surrounding beside the river with a brilliant idea to have a pouch with lots of cushions to rest and wild away your time. The rooms are very clean and concept is cleverly designed with lots of space. Bed is high up and very comfortable get to the town, there are shuttle buggies service so convenient for guests. Breakfast is very good except its should have more varieties like local food instead of western menu.Staffs have provided impeccable service and knows what you want most of the time and always ready to provide a service. But the most most impressive and remarkable intiative that the hotel have provided is their kind thoughts and consideration for the the guests. I have a very unfortunate bike accident coming up to Pai with my wife and this is the first time I do this and unfamiliar with the poor condition of the dangerous and 762 curves. The first thing I checked in at this hotel, the staff at reception asked me whether i need to go to the hospital and will provide transport anytime to my convenienences. My wife and me were so miserable as our holidays was ruined by my stupidity act of this accident and left us unable to ride and go to place of interests. Our low morals is lightened up when the hotel reception staff told us that the Management is willing to provide us a one day tour of places of interest that we wish to go. Such kind thoughts from the management have sincerely touch of heart and we are so lucky in this way that we have no regrets chose to stay in this hotel. My Wife and I wishes the Management and all staff good health and prosperity."

SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge: "Oasis in the middle of busy Yangon"

Review by: martarno | Source: Trip Advisor
A stunning place in the heart of Yangon, with an impecable view towards the Inya Lake. The food is just perfection and the hosts are really nice. The only thing I could criticize would be that the table is a little bit dark.

Tugu Bali: "Hotel of our dreams"

Review by: marieabroad | Source: Trip Advisor
Hotel Tugu is truly magical. From the moment you walk in, you feel as though you have been transported into an antique oasis. We were escorted by the friendliest staff to our Dedari Villa, which includes a private plunge pool, and a beautiful outdoor shower and bath that opened up to our own private koi pond. The room alone is like a fantasy, but the rest of the grounds are just as stunning. The location is perfect - right across the street from the ocean, and Old Man's and The Lawn (which are two fun, young bars/places to hang out.) I would 10/10 recommend this hotel to all, especially a couple looking for a romantic retreat.

Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "Cheong"

Review by: YogiSophie | Source: Trip Advisor
Boutique hotels are always on our route when exploring new territories, as they offer a unique experience of the local culture. CHEONG FATT TZE MANSION is no exception. Legendary in the annals of Penang Island, Malaysia, “La maison Bleue” (the blue mansion) stands graciously in the middle of the cultural center of UNESCO world heritage site of George Town for over 135 years. We recommend to anyone visiting this are to look no further and book a few night at CHEONG FATT TZE. You will be leaving with some enchanting stories of the past and delicious food in your bellies, while having experience the relaxing and elegance of this very beautiful hotel.
