Jing’s Residence: "Paradise in Pingyao"

While Pingyao did not blow me away - this hotel sure did! My husband and I were helped with the trains by the staff, and they graciously extended our checkout to protect us from the rain. Iman is absolutely wonderful and all the staff treat you amazingly. The breakfast was the best we had in China and all the little touches really made our stay memorable. If you're going to Pingyao, stay here!!

Maison Polanka: "the coisy intimacy of luxury"

"Amaizing experience!!! Great location, beautiful and peaceful place with a fantastic staff. This is a place we would love to call home (maybe because it was decorated as a personal Home). Every room has its character, really comfortable after a morning a visit.Food is excellent. As for the service, it was exceptional, especially considering the size of the hotel. Villa Song Saigon: "Wonderful Oasis on the River"

"I was fortunate enough to spend last weekend at Villa Song in Ho Chi Minh. The hotel is perfect...all the rooms have a wonderful colonial feel to them. My room had a balcony overlooking the river-perfect for a leisurely breakfast or a cocktail later on with my friends. While the hotel itself is beautiful, what set Villa Song apart was the service. The staff went the extra mile constantly to make our stay perfect. I can't recommend the hotel highly enough for anybody looking for a relaxed, elegant place to stay."

Gorgeous hotel giving a truly boutique experience. The rooms are very inidvidual and huge. Likewise the beds - huge with classy bedlinen. Rooms cleaned to high standard daily. Included breakfast had plenty of interesting options. All the staff are obliging, friendly, and unobtrusive. No lack of efficiency or attention to detail in any sector. We savoured every day of our stay here. With 20 years experience in 5 star hotel industry, have to say this hotel ticks every box with flying colours.

Villa Song: "Haven in District 2"

Escape the hustle and bustle of downtown Saigon and head for Villa Song across the river - a beautifully designed Colonial Villa with just the right number of rooms making it feel homely and welcoming. The interior design is lovely featuring Vietnamese artwork and furnishings. The pool area is a huge plus for swimming. The staff are very courteous and whilst going through the booking process helped in numerous ways with suggestions for local trips, booking up restaurants - all very efficient. The car service to and from the airport was excellent and worth doing this. The frenetic pace of Saigon and the unfortunate pollution problems can be quite something so its nice to stay just outside for peace and sanity!!! I also noticed that the staff were especially good and accommodating to small children holidaying with their parents.

The Apsara Rive Droite: "Delicious food"

Had a lovely meal here, gorgeous food and very friendly service. It has a lovely view over the river and you can sit looking out over the river if you want. We also had our young son with us who asked lots of questions, they were very accommodating.

Rice & Zen Boutique Resort: "Absolutely Outstanding"

"Seadance is a very special place indeed. As has been said in lots of other reviews - the staff are amazing- so very friendly and helpful. It is very peaceful here, so much so that we didn't venture far from the resort during our 6 day stay, which is unusual for us. The rooms are great and we loved the semi-outdoor nature of the bathrooms which gave it a very special feel. The food in the restaurant is fantastic - yes it is more than you would pay in local restaurants - but it is definitely worth it. We would definitely recommend the Wednesday night buffet - with complimentary drinks beforehand. We also took advantage of the happy hour (5-7pm) most evenings with 2 for 1 cocktails which were great. Thank you Poy, Faith and the rest of the team for ensuring we had the best holiday ever. MesaStila: "Pampered stay"

We have no negative comments about the Mesa Stila. We rarely return to a hotel which is not a beach location, as we vary our travel destinations, but we are considering where we can link with here as there was so much more to do than we managed in 3 days! We really appreciated seeing both ancient and contemporary Javanese culture. It would be unfair to praise an individual member of staff since everyone we encountered (including those around the grounds) provided wonderful service and a smiling greeting. The hamman experience is not to be missed. Thank you to everyone involved.

Satri House: "A Royal Stay"

"Everything about this place was enjoyable. The former royal residence was elegant, charming and personable. You feel like staying at someone's home or should I say palace. When you arrive its like entering into a different era. The decor, rooms and grounds are all beautiful. Lots of nooks to find and settle in. The staff was very friendly and accommodating - even helped us with learning a view Laotian phrases. Hang out at the poolside bar before heading out. Very impressed with the hotel restaurant. Great breakfast with fresh bread etc. With so many restaurant choices in LP, we actually chose to eat our last dinner at the hotel and its was best decision. There is also a very good place right across the side street called Manda de Laos - expensive for LP but very reasonable and good. The one thing that concerned us when we book was the distance to the main area in LP. In reality, being a little secluded was preferable as the hotel was quiet and tranquil. We typically walked into town which takes 5-7 minutes. And if you don't want to walk its quite easy to get a cheap tuk tuk or take one of the hotel's bikes. We considered 3 Nagas but we made right choice. For recommendations in LP, check out Naga Creations. Its owned by a french expat that creates local artisan jewelry. I normally don't shop on vacation but this was an exception. We look forward to returning. To Giovanni and his staff - Kop chai lai lai!"

Villa Song Saigon: "Fantastic weekend in HCMC"

This was a lovely hotel for a brief weekend in HCMC. Lovely location, quiet and tranquil setting, beautiful gardens, and loved the boat into the city center. You will need to take a taxi or uber back if you come back later in the evening. There is a beautiful pool which is open 24 hours, and breakfast served all day.
