Cuisine Wat Damnak: "A little overrated"
The chef was lovely. The menu is limited--there are only two pre-fix menus and you must choose either or leave, I guess. Haha, It was good but maybe a little too pricey for the small portions.Nimmu House: "Paradise in Ladakh"
"I stayed in Nimmu House during a trip in Ladakh organised with a group when we had to go trekking. We stayed in Nimmu before and after our trek. This place was so peaceful and it was the perfect place to have a little rest. We stayed inside the tent in the garden which are just amazing and cosy with all facilities and much more than what you could expect after trekking in Ladakh. The inside of the house is also very special and has his own story which is quite interesting. At night, we enjoyed the bonfire and nice drinks outside all together. Food is very wonderful thanks to Maya and menu is different everyday. We had Chocolate Mouss, Chocolate Pie and also Lemon Pie which is so nice French people The atmosphere is very friendly in Nimmu house :) Manon, her husband and Audrey take good care of their customer and are always available to discuss with you about any enquiries you have regarding the services, the house or any kind of thing. I really like to thank all of them for this wonderful stay in Nimmu which was so special for me as it was my birthday and they made it so nice for me :)"Samanea Beach Resort: "Great place"
The pier is the star attraction, best place in Kep to experience sunset and because of the small amount of rooms available the resort is never crowded, there are always available beds around the pool. All in all affording a feeling of exclusivity rarely experienced at larger resorts.Jing’s Residence: "Very charming place to stay"
Very quiet, beautifull and confortable place to stay. Not like an hotel, more like a beautiful home, a nice library to spend time to read drinking a good tea, possibility to access to a free Wi-Fi, and very kind persons at the check in/out, at the restaurant for the diner or the breakfast...David’s Kitchen: "Fantastic meal and service"
"Myself and two friends visited David's kitchen on a Saturday night, we did not have a reservation but David was very happy to accommodate us. He took the time to ask us about our trip and what our plans were, while also giving us advice on other attractions and bars in the area. The food and service was amazing, the best we've eaten on our trip. The staff regulately enquired as to whether we needed anything. The chocolate souffle an tiramisu were the best we've ever had. The staff were all kind and attentive, really setting the experience apart. The personal touches and attentions really made a difference and added to a wonderful evening."Sukoon Houseboat: "Perfect luxurious houseboat, great service, food and location."
We booked the suite at the back of the boat which was very quiet. Babu the waiter was fantastic. The food was really great, had the best momos (even in Nepal/Tibet they are soggy and poor quality). The little motor boat to take us to and from the shore was perfect. Definitely take a little Shikara for an hour's boat ride. Take time to relax and enjoy the houseboat though. Good book and some Kashmiri tea, perfect.Amata Lanna: "Peaceful and beautiful"
Absolute gem in the heart of Chiang Mai. Close to everything and yet removed and peaceful. Staff was exceptionally helpful (finding rides, giving restaurant recommendations, giving directions, etc), grounds and room were spotless, beds comfortable. I cannot say enough lovely things about this spot. Breakfast was fantastic and cost was just right! I would absolutely stay here again! Close to a number of great restaurants and the ever so popular night market. A winner all around!Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "Best experience in my life!"
Very friendly and helpful people, that had a lot know-how about nature and animals. The camp was very clean and no plastic in the whole area which created a very noble athmosphere. The food was extraordinary - fresh and very tasty!Cuca: "Amazing food"
We enjoyed a romantic dinner here in the garden. Beautiful restaurant and grounds. Staff are super friendly and helpful. They guided us through each item we ordered. Tapas were outstanding. Price is high for Bali but worth it for the quality of food, taste, presentation and experience!Bassac Cruises: "A “must-do” to really see the Mekong in style"
We took the one night cruise on Bassac 2. The programme is lunch and afternoon cruise, visit to local village, dinner and evening cruise to anchorage, breakfast and morning cruise to disembarkation point with visit to floating market and noodle making. For us this was a perfect itinerary and duration and a great insight into life in this enormous and important area of Vietnam. The food, particularly lunch was fantastic. Continental breakfast also had hot food. The boat is a joy with plenty of seating space even though the boat was full. The guide, An, was brilliant.
