Manda De Laos: "Impressive"
So impressed with the service, food, drinks and ambiance. It feels like you are walking into a little, romantic, paradise pond escape. Best meal in Laos by far. All food and unique drinks had beautiful presentation. Can’t wait to return!SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge: "Excellent, an example for culinary experiences"
"This is my second visit to the Seeds. The garden enchants me again and again, especially the sunset at the lake is simply a feast for the eyes. Culinary, Felix cooks at a high Level. His well-balanced dishes are professionally served by proud and motivated staff. Accompanied by the evening we were by the charming Lucia. Her courteous and friendly manner as well as her hosting abilities fulfilled every wish. All these people are united as a strong team, creating an atmosphere that invites you to linger and enjoy. Lucia and Felix are great examples for staff management in the hospitality industry. This is immediately noticeable as a guest. It will definitely not have been my last visit to the Seeds. Kind regards Urs Auchter Working for development aid as Swiss Master Chef in Yangon."Maison Polanka: "Tropical paradise with outstanding service"
We stayed here for our 30th wedding anniversary and had one of the most amazing few days of our lives. From the personalised greeting at the airport , our anniversary flowers, the welcome drink with lemongrass as a straw and the beautiful decoration throughout the property, it is such a special place. I haven't felt so spoilt since I was a child at my grandmother's house. We slept late one afternoon after an early start at the temples, so candles were light so I could take a late swim, fresh baked cakes are delivered to your sun bed as you swim and you are always greeted with a smile. Best hotel I have ever stayed in and I shall return.Heritage Suites: "Wonderful stay"
Our trip started off in style with the airport pickup in the old Mercedes. The staff were welcoming from the start with cold towels, water, and a welcome cocktail when we arrived. They weren't full during our stay so they gave us a complimentary upgrade to a Bungalow Suite. It was a very nice room and we'd happily pay for the extra charge to have this suite again. We liked that the hotel is a more intimate size than much of what you see around Siem Reap and that it was part of its neighborhood. They let us know when we arrived that there was a festival going on and we might hear monks chanting early in the morning from the temple nearby. When waking up before sunrise to head to the temples one morning we heard the very beautiful chanting, apparently they had started at 4 AM but we didn't hear them at all from our room. We had breakfast at the hotel daily which we enjoyed very much, but didn't try the restaurant at other times as we were out exploring Siem Reap. We booked a guide to visit temples and the Tonle Sap via their companion company Heritage Adventures who we would highly recommend. A great visit and we hope to be back again soon!Muang La Lodge: "A little peace of paradise in northern Laos"
It takes a bit of effort to get there, but its secludeness is also part of its charm. The staff of this beautiful resort with only ten rooms does everything to make your stay pleasant and memorable. There are no strict rules, except for enjoying yourself as much as possible. If you would like to stay in a tranquil, beautiful and comfortable resort and value quality over quantity, this is the place to be. Especially the five course dinner which combines the best of French and Asian cuisine is worth mentioning. If you prefer an easy getaway with all standard 5-star hotel facilities and an all-you-can-eat buffet, this is not the place for you.Neeleshwar Hermitage: "A piece of heaven"
"This is my second visit to Neeleshwar Hermitage and by the looks of it won't be my last. The weather was perfect and the hospitality was perfect and thoughtful. Check in was smooth - they even kept the restaurant open past its timings for my arrival which was very thoughtful of them. Libin and Sharath at the restaurant were very good. The food on the first day was fabulous (some great grilled fish and prawn curry). On the rest of the days it was just ok though the breakfast was very good. I also really enjoyed my morning coffee on the veranda. The pool is perfect, there were no intrusions and my request for drinks were quickly attended to. The cottage room is big and comfortable and i got some well deserved rest. The only disappointment was that the restaurant by the beach was closed because of the monsoons, though I must say their main restaurant is beautifully done up. The resort itself is very beautiful with views of the crashing waves of the ocean. Overall it is a great place to get some rest and get away from hectic schedules. The staff go way out of their way to make you comfortable without being intrusive in any manner. I really appreciated the efforts they put in to make sure I had a good holiday and I was very impressed. My sincere thanks to them all. My only recommendation is that more boards be put up on the main road so that the resort is easier to locate. The resort is 2.5 hours from Mangalore airport which is quite a ride. As a tip i would recommend that guests call up the resort for their bookings and you might get a great deal like i did! A slice of heaven on earth -not to be missed for those looking for a relaxing holiday! https://www.tripadvisor.ca/ShowUserReviews-g1809068-d1204939-r382338334-Neeleshwar_Hermitage-Kasaragod_Kerala.html#"Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "Walk into amazing history! Most excelent"
"Most amazing history and architecture; a truly east meets west in a unique blend that worked in C19th and is a place which has a feeling that has to be experienced to be believed. The current owners restored this place with meticulous detail to the most miniscule of reproduced effects, having to seek out craftsmen to work with a lost art. External feature details are fashioned from broken and shaped especially fired porcelain bowls. Colourfast beauty that will last potentially for centuries. The world should thank people with this level of vision to preserve such magnificent history. The history of the original owner, Cheong Fatt Tze is as fascinating as the building itself. We had the great privilege to meet and talk with owner, architect and one of the visionaries behind the Cheong Fatt Tze Mansion renovation which won the UNESCO Most Excellent Project, Lin Lee Loh-Lim. Passion personified! Check when Lin Lee Loh-Lim is conducting tours. Having stayed for several nights I can say the place and the staff are the most amazing I have ever encountered. Oh that we should all take so much pride in our work and enjoy it so much. The Restaurant with French fusion dishes is great value for money and excellent quality. This one liner is a total understatement. Yes I'm besotted with the Blue Mansion, its has been one of those experiences I will treasure and talk about for the rest of my life! Something I must say is that some of the surrounding property owners appear to have little respect for what the Blue Mansion represents and the leadership that properties of this calibre offer the future of Georgetown and Penang as a world class destination. I can only hope that the Penang City Council and Chamber of Commerce can work with all accommodation providers and landowners in the area to put sustainable noise abatement in place to enhance the experience and vision that has been so delightfully preserved in the Blue Mansion and the surrounding area. I'll be back to experience the charming ambiance of the Blue Mansion in the future. I wish the owners and staff every continuing success."Satri House: "Beautiful quiet hotel"
Our plane arrival was two hours late and Satri House was there to pick us up on arrival. The service was kind, friendly, and gracious throughout our stay. Navi, the guest services manager was present to offer dining suggestions and answer any questions we might have. All of the staff were excellent. The hotel is arranged in beautiful gardens and pools around a Lao prince's residence. The furnishings and interiors are antiques and one of a kind art pieces. It is almost like staying in an art museum. The impressions are fantastic. The food in the dining room was excellent. We had dinner twice and breakfast every morning. It is good value for money. We used the hotel bicycles to go sight seeing which was fun. It was overall a wonderful experience. We stayed in room 622 which was large, artfully arranged, and quiet, with both air conditioning and a ceiling fan which we loved.Le Du Wine Bar & Restaurant: "Awesome fine dining in Bangkok"
"I managed to get a reservation here during a recent business trip to Bangkok. The restaurant was also incredibly accommodating to my schedule as I wasn't sure when I was going to land and get through the airport so I booked it for late, but they were willing to let me arrive earlier than my reservation. The restaurant is small and intimate though the tables were quite spread out so one could still have some privacy during dinner. Most of the patrons though were foreigners though one thai couple did come in during the night. The chef could be seen working closely with his team in the back and more often than not, would also come out to the serving area where another crew of 3-4 chefs would finalize the various dishes. Lots of people would ask to take pictures with the young chef (next time I will as well). I had their four course menu as I wasn't feeling super hungry and I was happy. I wouldn't have been able to eat the full chef tasting menu (six courses which a near by table ordered). I ordered a white and then a red glass of wine and again it was perfect for me. In the end, I was completely stuffed and very impressed with the quality of the food. It was a mix of thai mixed with western style preparation that just blew me away. I would come back here next time I am in Bangkok. One interesting note, I originally thought my server was from the US as she had what appeared to be a strong American accent, but it turned out that she had studied at a local international school which I guess were taught by American professors."Sandat Glamping Tents: "No words"
"So, so nice!!!!It is different from all resorts you use to know. Beautiful tent, calm place and very nice people. The manager (italien), also friendly and kind. It's a litlle bit far from the town but they have transport, you´re there in 20 minutes. NO TV!!!!! I Must return one day"
