Egalement superbe hôtel dans les rizières."Supanniga Cruise: "One of the highlights of our trip"
This cruise exceeded our expectations. Its not the cheapest cruise on the river but the reward for paying a bit extra is a great service & six delicious courses of food that is personally delivered to your table with an accompanying description of the meal on offer. We loved the traditional with a modern twist, classy but funky vibe of the cruise all set against the stunning backdrop of the Chao Praya river at night. This was one of the highlights of our trip & will do it again next time in Bangkok.SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge: "Amazing food, exceptional service!"
Best restaurant in Yangon! The truffle ravioli is amazing. Great atmosphere. The staff delivers top notch, excellent service. You can tell they've really put a lot of love into this place. Highly recommend! The Island Lodge: "Perfect Mekong retreat"
I spent one great night here on the banks of the impressive Mekong river. On arrival,as a business group, we were given a fantastic, warm welcome, inclusive refreshing towel and a wonderful "fruit cocktail" and tea. Check in was smooth and incredibly friendly. Michel and his Wife were on hand as part of the welcoming party. I had a very comfortable (the bed and the pillows were a perfect match for an excellent sleep) room overlooking the river. Pity we did not have our evening meal at the hotel restaurant since we had an outside appointment arranged. However, next morning I had a delightful breakfast, in the very pleasant restaurant surroundings. My hat off to the staff who created and added value to the short but memorable one nighter. If you are looking for something special on the Mekong this is highly recommended. Enjoy the Island Lodge! The Island Lodge: "Lovely Oasis on Two-Day Bike Tour"
We stayed at the property in later December 2016 on the night in the middle of a two-day bike trip. After a long morning and part of the afternoon on bikes we were very happy to arrive at this beautiful property. The owner and his staff are very welcoming and the rooms were spacious and very clean. The bathroom is well decorated with pretty rocks in one section of the shower and lovely ceramic mugs near the sink. We had booked ahead to ensure we could each have a massage that afternoon and the spa is small but pretty. There is a large pool and deck area along the river but it was cool enough that we were not interested in sitting out by the pool. We had a cocktail in the bar area which is open on all sides and has a fun decor that incorporates old world items. The restaurant was good but we were not clear at the time of booking that we would be on a set menu. I think we would have preferred to order a la carte. All in all a good stay and we would return if in the area.Satri House: "Great hotel"
"Stayed here for a first time visit to Laos. The arrival is a little underwhelming as the hotel has no frontage to speak of, just an opening with a road down to a doorway very tastefully done. Inside is a revelation- a lovely relaxed layout with 2 pools, bar and restaurant. The room was spacious with 4 poster bed, bathroom, separate toilet and large balcony. The room was clean had all facilities including fruit basket and toiletries in glass bottles. Staff were extremely friendly and attentive. Breakfast east cooked to order with fresh juice, omelettes, croissants etc. Anything asked for was brought without fuss. We did try the restaurant which was very good in the evening. Slight criticisms - there was a cocktail menu at the bar but the barman didn’t really know how to make them. It is about 1 km from the centre so a bit of a walk to get into Luang Prabang town."Cabochon Hotel & Residence: "Boutique hotel in Sukhumvit"
"We stayed in Cabochon in July this year and were blown away by this beautiful small hotel. We were unsure if we would like Bangkok but ended up loving it. I'm sure a large part of this was down to Cabochon. Firstly, it is an excellent area of town to stay. It is a 5-10 minute safe walk to a BTS station which takes you quickly to the hustle of town. Plus, it's incredible air con makes it a pleasure to travel on. Sukhumvit itself is also a lovely area where we always felt safe and there were tons of great places to eat. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated and you wouldn't believe you were in the centre of busy Bangkok! Firstly, it is so quiet. It is also beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. The room is a good size with an excellent bathroom. Also loved the free fruit and soft drinks in the mini bar! They have an excellent (but very spicy!) on site and breakfasts are both buffet and a la carte for no extra cost. Amazing French toast! If I was going back to Bangkok I wouldn't even consider anywhere else. Many thanks to the staff who were outstanding throughout. "Rakkojae Seoul: "Amazing Hanok Stay!"
My wife and I were really hoping to find a great, traditional Hanok style hotel and the Rakkojae exceeded our expectations. The grounds are beautiful and kept up well. The room was spotless as well as the bathroom. The manager was very friendly and helpful. He cooked us a delicious western-style breakfast, which we ate outside on the porch overlooking the courtyard. The location is conveniently located near Bukchon and other popular palaces. There are a few delicious food options nearby on the street behind the hotel. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a tranquil and relaxing vacation. We hope to return!!!Tugu Bali: "the dream holiday"
"I have been to TUGU Bali few times and every time it is more and more relaxing and pleasant. I find great the idea that a guest can have breakfast at ANY TIME without bothering about timing..and ANYWHERE (pool, room, sea front...). The spa is also very pleasant! and if you have time you can also follow a cooking class..!!...I always felt pampered at TUGU!!....and, last but not least, the staff is excellent, professional and always caring about the guests needs. I will returner sure!"Dewakan: "An Absolute Must Visit"
"If there is only one restaurant you can go to while you are in KL, then make it this one! I don't usually gush lyrical, but here is a young chef who combines well rehearsed classical technique with inventiveness and an open mind. Added to this is a philosophy that is not floridly wordy, but very much bound to the earth and to his own family traditions. Chef Darren sources his ingredients locally and lets his family recipes be part of his inspiration. So what should you expect? Beautifully prepared dishes with a distinct, sometimes subtle, sometimes strong local flavour, lots of freshness and a little playful fun. Overall, great, great food that you definitely must not miss out on."
