Supanniga Eating Room: "Refined thai food great flavor"

Heard a lot of good things about this place and was NOT disappointed when I finally ate there. As there was 2 of us We were limited in how many dishes to try. We had the Issan pork sausage, pa neng beef red curry and the crispy fish with mango relish. All 3 dishes scored top marks. Sausage was fragrant and had a good texture. Curry was full bodied with the right level of heat. Crispy fish salad was generous serving and the mango dressing was light. Food was enough for 3. Was stuffed but very satisfied. Best thai food I had on this trip.

Muang La Lodge: "Séjour Inoubliable"

"Nous venons de séjourner pendant trois jours dans ce lodge et n'avons rien à redire. La manager Raphael gère cet hôtel avec excellence. Grande attention à chacun de ses clients. Notre chambre était spacieuse, propre et décor avec beaucoup de goût. Les repas excellents et les serveuses adorables. Nous vous le conseillons si vous passez dans cette région."

Maison Polanka: "Totally great"

We were bowled over by our stay at Hotel Polanka. The staff are unfailingly helpful - and go out of their way to provide the little touches that makes the hotel feel sooo luxurious. Would 100% recommend it - it's a 10 minute bike ride to town (bikes provided) or tuk tuk about the same. 20-25 minutes to the temples. 20-25 mins to the airport. All incredibly easy and beautifully done. Thank you!

Supanniga Home: "Nice peaceful homey relaxing place in winter"

My family visit here in winter. we will come back again. Love it. Nice food and service. Unbelievable tradition delicious Eastern Thai food in Konkean(a North-East province). Recommend you to visit here in winter.

Tugu Bali: "Amazing Tugu experience"

Amazing food, cocktails and atmosphere! The dancers were beautiful - this made our trip! Thank you to the waiting staff and dancers for catering to our large group :) we will definitely be back again!

Villa Mathis: "Our new Balinese secret hideaway"

We arrived in the middle of the night and what a pleasure it was after the long flight to see our driver patiently awaiting our arrival. It took about 20 minutes from the airport and when we entered our room we knew this was a special place! I immediately regretted booking for such a short stay. Our room (I think it was called The Bintan) was super spacious with an outdoor rainfall shower, soaking bath tub and a GIGANTIC wooden carved bed that is probably one of the sexiest I've ever seen. My 6 foot 4 husband said it was his "dream bed" LOL! We woke to a beautifully designed outdoor area filled with Balinese art and luxurious drapery and made us so happy to be away from the European winter! The breakfast was great with made to order eggs/omlettes and fresh pastries. My travel motto is "you get what you pay for" but Mathis Villas is in my travel experiences a rare exception because the cost was fantastic for what we received. In fact, I am writing this review from a highly rated and more expensive hotel in Ubud and mentioned to my husbsnd (on more than one occasion) that I wished we had stayed at Mathis...I'm aware there is also a Mathis Villa here in Ubud so the next time we're in Ubud we hope to give it a try. Keep up the good work and Im certain we will return!

Le Du Wine Bar & Restaurant: "Amazing dinner with friends"

Very innovative. I'm impressed by the quality of their ingredients and ideas. This is the best modern Thai restaurant in Thailand. All dishes were executed with great confidence.

Mathis Retreat: "Sehr schönes & ruhiges Resort"

Wir waren 3 Nächte im Mathis Retreat. Es war ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt! Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, der Pool ist klasse und bietet einen tollen Blick auf die Reisfelder. Restaurant und Frühstück waren klasse - man kann sich individuell à la Carte alles zusammenstellen. Wir hatten einen Bungalow der sehr schön war. 2x am Tag wurde sauber gemacht. Wir können das Mathis zu 100% weiterempfehlen

Pindaya Farm House: "Very good"

Our 2-day stay at the Pindaya Farm House (formerly Thahara Pindaya) was really wonderful. The hosts, Aye Aye, Ko Yangon and their staff took very good care of us. Our room was very nice, the food home cooked and very tasty, and the sightseeing recommendations very helpful. We visited of course the famous Pindaya Caves, but after we had come back from the about 1.5 hrs easy trek (round trip) to the green tea plantations on the same mountain (we recommend the trek!). Shan paper making was another very nice stop. Our hosts took us to a weaver in a local village, away from the tourist area, simple but kind of a hidden gem. Thank you very much to our hosts and Aye Aye's sister for the wonderful stay we had at their guest house.

MesaStila: "I wouldn’t stay anywhere else when visiting Central Java"

We had such an amazing stay that we wondered if we could extend our trip, despite needing to pay extra to change our flights. The room was super comfortable and artfully decorated. The vibe from the entire property was welcoming, peaceful and relaxing. I feel like we've been transported to a land without worries. The ever smiling and helpful staff definitely helped! The Turkish bath and massage was 12/10. Must try. I felt like a newborn right after.
