SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge: "Really worth a visit"

This is gonna be a review of superlatives. Seeds is one of the - if not the - most memorable expirience we had in Myanmar. The restaurant is relativly new and was built to the dining palace it is today in merely 11 months. The food is exquisite and unique, the service is fast, very polite and attentive and the setting is just beautiful. We took the Chef's menu and it really was a journey. The prices are in the upper class but we spent every dollar gladly. Will definitely visit again if possible.

Rachamankha: "Phenomenal"

Impeccably kept hotel! Peaceful, clean, romantic fabulous service. Breakfast buffet exquisite with menu options. Service is top-notch. Fabulous restaurant on the facility and nearby local restaurants within walking distance. Must see when in chiang Mai ..

The River Resort: "Wonderful surprise"

Stayed several days at The River Resort. About as nice an experience as one could imagine. Food terrific, staff wonderful, rooms very comfortable... a great place to stay if you are visiting southern Laos. This is a unique and special resort, one that you won't regret.

Supanniga Cruise: "Probably the best stylish dinner cruise in Bangkok!!!"

"Love the cruise design, so chic and stylish. Not way traditional Thai like other cruises. I especially love the lounge area at the front of the boat where you can chill, sip champagne, and enjoy Bangkok's nighttime river view. For the food, it comes with 6-course authentic Thai food and a glass of Taittinger champagne as a welcome drink. And I must say the taste is really Thai, unlike some other cruises that compromises way to much to suit foreigners' palate. The service is top-notch, very attentive and friendly. The cruise manager, Khun Joe, is the real gem. He helped us taking pictures and we loved the wine he recommended. All in all, a must do if are into river cruising."

Sanak Retreat Bali: "Luxus inmitten von Reisfeldern"

"Das Sanak Retreat ist unsere absolute Empfehlung für Zentralbali. Wir wurden sehr nett begrüßt und erhielten im Restaurant einen tollen Willkommensdrink in Form einer ganzen Kokusnuss. Die ""Hütten"" haben eine große Terrasse und einen wunderbaren Schlafraum, dessen bodentiefe Fenster sich komplett öffnen lassen. So kann man direkt in der Natur schlafen. Was uns im Sanak Retreat sehr gut gefallen hat: - hervorragendes Restaurant (tolle angerichtete Teller, sehr gute Qualität) - kleine, fast familiäre Hotelanlage - Umweltschutz und soziale Aspekte - tolle Massage zu einem fairen Preis Einzig die laut quakenden Frösche rauben einem den Schlaf."

Tugu Lombok: "L’âme Indonésienne"

"Après avoir séjourné plus de 3 semaines à travers tout Bali et encore une semaine à la découverte de lumbok, nous sommes arrivés dans ce petit paradis pour finaliser notre voyage de 25 ans de mariage. 5 nuits d enchantement ou vraiment incomparable à tout autre hôtel de notre sejour et pourtant d autre de grand luxe également et un du même nom sur Bali qui n a absolument rien à voir . Ici tout à été parfait le repos, la plage magnifique digne d une carte postal avec le mobilier et décort très particulier qui font tout le charme de cet endroit Je ne vais pas m attarder sur la villa parfaite literie salle de bain etc... tout y est magique ou encore qu' il vous sera possible de vous faire servir vos repas ou bon vous semble partout dans le parc ou sur la plage ect. Non je préfère m attarder sur ce que vous ne trouverez nul par ailleurs croyez moi c est ici qu' on a vraiment ressenti la bienveillance le sourire vrai et l âme véritable du personnel indonésien. Vraiment des jardiniers , des hommes de chambres, des serveurs, Et surtout de la superbe responsable qui du 1er jours au derniers passera vous dire bonjour mais surtout s assurer que tout se passe bien. Le fait d avoir une responsable indonésienne qui aime son pays et surtout est aussi proche de son personnel que de sa clientèle fait vraiment toute la différence . Il y Régine un état d esprit complètement différent que ce que l on a pu voir dans d autres hôtels de même catégorie , ici on y sent le respect mutuel et de ce fait une ambiance ou il y fait bon vivre . Alors c est sur qu' on en gardera un merveilleux souvenir et qu' on le conseil vivement à toute personne qui passe par lumbok! Room Tip: Nous avions une villa avec petit jardin privé. Manukan Island Resort: "Wow"

Spent 3 days, 2 nights here. Started with a lovely greeting by very friendly staff. Great room with water views. Large room, good bathroom and nice verandah to sit on and watch the world go by. Try the walk up to sunset point - was cloudy when I went, but still nice. Food in restaurant is nice, dearer than mainland but still cheap compared to home. Good buffet breakfast. Lots of people on the island during the day with locals coming over, but they all leave late afternoon then it's all yours. Very relaxing, peaceful few days. Went on snorkeling trip to nearby islands from here too. Great. Would love to come back here.

Mathis Retreat: "A real retreat in beautiful surroundings with wonderful staff"

We received a wonderful,warm welcome at this peaceful haven which is a 10 minute taxi ride from the centre of Ubud. We chose a room in the new block overlooking the rice fields which was just beautiful- the pictures on the website do not do it justice. Fresh fruit was delivered to our room each evening. Breakfast at the Terracotta restaurant overlooking the rice fields was lovely and eating there in the evening was magical. The staff go out of their way to be helpful at every opportunity. We used the hotel as a base from which to explore this fascinating part of the island and would definitely recommend it. Only slight con was the wi fi was very temperamental but a small price to pay!

Pindaya Farm House: "Fantastic"

It was our last day in Myanmar just before flying to Yangoon and back home. It was exactly the place we were looking for after visiting and staying at different hotels around Myanmar. The location and the big hut are magical, look and feel as if inside a legend. The warm hospitality and the great food made us feel at home. unfortunately we stayed there 1 night only. Could stay there for a week.

Muang La Lodge: "Amazing small luxury resort with top service and food in an splendid setting"

"We were more than pleasantly surprised by this amazing small luxurious resort in the mountains of North Laos. We felt welcome and special. Top service, very friendly staff and general mananger. Top room with view on the river. The hotel organized for us 2 amazing tours to the mountain tribes. It was a real adventure and we were touch by the people in the small mountian villages. Excellent guides and driver of the 4 x 4. Wonderfull breakfast and really amazing diners ! This is really top food. This resort is in fact too good to share with others. Thanks for a wonderful 3 days. We enjoyed it !"
