"this place is always immaculate in terms of cleanliness, neatness, service, food, decorations, amenities, tableware, flowers, garden and every little detail that you hardly notice but it adds up to make this place very special. i always try new hotels in chiang mai but always end up back at rachamankha, this place is one of a kind. you can feel the love the owner has put in to it, i hope it will stay this way! "Everything about the Hermitage was wonderful - the room, the bed, the pillows, the care taken to make sure everything was perfect, the food, the off site activities offered ( alt bought these were expensive) Forewarned, we had pre- ordered full board to avoid a large bill at the end so that worked out well. Highlight was a trip to the jungle to see a Theyam ceremony. Unforgettable! The sea was like a warm bath, the food and company and the pool were all excellent. Tucked away a little the restaurant is in a side street in the bottom floor of an apartment building. Friendly staffed showed us in and made sure we got the menu's with 3 choices, A la carte, a fixed price 4 course menu choosing from the menu or the 6 course tasting menu. We choose the 6 course menu and enjoyed the journey through some amazing Thai dishes that had some modern touches or tastes. Each course allowed you to enjoy the Thai flavours but with a twist or addition. One of the best 'Thai' meals I have eaten. So an excellent range of dishes, friendly service and a nice comfortable ambiance to wrap up an amazing meal.Bali Jiwa Villa: "A dream becomes reality"
"The Bali Jiwa Villas are one of the most beautiful places I ever been. Apart of the beauty of the location - situated in the middle of rice field ( without destroying them ) the Villas are very carefully furnished. The wonderful furnishing taste signs of deep understanding the story of Bali. The charm of this place is simply stunning. Big bathroom ( indoor ad outdoor ), wonderful bed and sheets, enlightened by big windows and the wonderful pool just in front of every villa, very clean and just the way it should be. The staff is amazing and the food is typically balinese - very tasty and home made with a lots of attention. Mung La Lodge is a beautiful ecolodge and a bit of paradise. The hot spring baths, the wonderful dinners and the terrific service contribute to a terrific relaxing stay. We stayed three nights and didn't want to leave.Jing’s Residence: "A haven of peace"
"We stayed at Jing's Residence for 2 nights and this was really a wonderful experience. After the noise and the crowd of the city , Jing's Residence offers a quiet and peaceful environment, sophisticated yet making you feel like in a friend's or family home. From the rooms and exquisite decoration, to the restaurant and the staff, everything was perfect. We celebrated my father's birthday there and the staff was very kind and thoughtful. This place is food divinity! The waiter offered me for trying the lamb chop. Uhmmm no words required, the lamb was very tasty!!! So juicy and tender. This place serves Japanese tapas with a mix of western Japanese. The food prepared here was something I had not seen elsewhere and was delicious. The staffs are very nice and the seafood are very fresh as some of their ingredients are flown in from Japan. I love the atmosphere where you dine next to the swimming pool. The dim lights, the seats and the magnificent view gives thus place two thumbs up.Pindaya Farm House: "Fantastic"
It was our last day in Myanmar just before flying to Yangoon and back home. It was exactly the place we were looking for after visiting and staying at different hotels around Myanmar. The location and the big hut are magical, look and feel as if inside a legend. The warm hospitality and the great food made us feel at home. unfortunately we stayed there 1 night only. "I stayed 2 nights with my family for a week end away from Saigon. Staff and owners are very nice and friendly. The restaurant provides good French food. The swimming is awesome.
