“In the hotel complex Maison Dalabua, the restaurant Manda de Laos is an amazing oasis in the middle of the city. Beautiful garden with UNESCO-classified lily ponds is very nice grouped around a lotus pond (very well kept, in the evening beautiful lit). The cook understands his craft and the service, above the restaurant manager […]
“This is the very best restaurant in Luang Prabang for Lao food. We strongly suggest the signaturen menu. The taste is wonderful, soft , sophisticated dishes. Although iT was 1000000 Kip that is only 70 euro. Do make a reservation. The setting is wonderful, nearly outside on a beautiful pond and very quiet.”
“Having booked our table here some time ago we were hoping for something out of the ordinary to remember our stay in Luang Prabang by. The special table we were given certainly lived up to our highest expectations and the food was just sublime. We thought the meal we had at another restaurant the previous […]
The food was amazing and service was great! The decor is beautiful, probably the nicest in Luang Prabang.
“From the street it at night there are no clues to what you will find when you enter this restaurant, right before you is the most beautiful lotus pond gently illuminated with dining tables nicely spaced around the edge. Stylish, romantic and impressive even before the food arrives which is a creative twist on local […]
Staying in Treasure Hotel across the road from the restaurant. Looked lovely so couldn’t resist. Tables surround a lotus pond and red Chinese lanterns cast a pleasing glow. My vegetable Laamp with rice was beautifully presented and much more than I could eat but powered on. Likewise husband’s chicken red curry was also delish. Maitre […]
Excellent restaurant in a beautiful garden. The food (local Lao food) was excellent and the service was also very good. We ended going there in four of our six nights in Luang Prabang.
Must eat fine dining restaurant! Great service and setting ambiance. Make a reservation. Cocktails were great!
Rarely will I opt for a set menu, but here it was so worth it. So nice to try all the different offerings. Service was wonderful and wine selection was good. Romantic setting but also appropriate for friends who just want to have a nice relaxed setting.
Manda de Laos sits on the sides of a beautiful pond, with lilies and fairy lights, that give a close to magical atmosphere to your dinner. Lovely (and delicious).
