"After a bad experience in what was called a 4* hotel in Ben Tre with the worst tour ever, I ended up at Island lodge and everything changed at the moment I arrived there. Perfection ! Food, room, huge clear pool overlooking the Mekong river and its ballet of boats, spa, all is above expectations and most of all the tour proposed are really fonction of your askings. I am very thankful to the owner, Michel, and his really fantastic team, to have done everything in 3 days to make a success of my trip in this area. "Staying at the mansion was a delight. The room that we stayed in ‘Mandarin’ (and we were lucky to get a free upgrade) was beautiful. I suggest getting that room since it’s the corner suite with a beautiful bathroom. The staff is wonderful and was caring and smiling all the time. The breakfast could be better. But that needs just a little more of care. The toast that came with the meal was dry and cold and the first round of coffees as well. The eggs were just ok. "Go to Luang Prabang, a World Heritage City, and stay at this lovely, restored French colonial hotel. Every detail is carefully addressed, and the rooms are really charming. "You should make reservations to get a table right next to the Lilly pond. The romantic feelings you get is fantastic and matches the excellent food and service. We had 2 main course buffalo dinners. The one that impressed us is the buffalo steak, more than the stir fried version. Meat was tender and tasty and a good reason to come back to Manda de Laos. This was a beautiful experience of a tradition Hanok in the heart of Bukchon. The property is intimate and secluded, with only a few 'rooms' placed around a small central courtyard. Every detail carries style and has been carefully set out to create an escape to a simpler past. The underfloor heating made sleeping on the floor surprisingly comfortable. The service was unintrusive, helpful and gracious, breakfast and dinner served each day with Korean hospitality of generosity and flair. We loved everything about Rakkojae. The location so close to some great historic sites, galleries and design spaces was a bonus!Satri House: "A treasure"
We stayed at the Satri House for 4 nights. It is a former royal residence and one can experience the elegance of the former time. The hotel was recently renovated while in keeping with this charm. Our room was large and well-appointed - the rooms spread out among the beautiful grounds. The overall atmosphere is calming with a lovely dining area and reception rooms . The staff are very helpful and courteous. They genuinely want to be sure that you enjoy your stay.SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge: "Awesome !"

"Stayed here with family in the second week of May. Though not the best period to visit this place (it being peak summer).....we had initially planned for 2 Nights, but then extended our stay by one more Night. We had booked 7 villas and everyone of us had a wonderful time. Firstly, thanks to Allaah, who made this possible. He is the best of planners. The property is just beautiful, with well designed villas, top class hygiene and very warm and courteous staff. Everyone, right from Front Desk, House Keeping to the Restaurant are very courteous and friendly. And the F&B Manager and the GM go the extra mile to make your stay memorable. This resort is everything and more of what you could possibly expect for a great holiday. Contrary to most other lake resort on Inle, it is very quiet and feels very private. The food and the ambience were both excellent. We met the owner David who recommended a couple dishes for us to try. My husband had the duck, which he claims was the best he had ever had. I had the squid ink pasta, delicious! Overall experience was great! David made us feel right at home and was sweet enough to give us restaurant recommendations for the countries we are visiting after Thailand. Must try if you’re in Chiang Mai!
