The Cabochon Hotel and Residence: "Indochine Cool"

Review by: vastjourney | Source: Trip Advisor
Reminiscent of French colonial style, this hip little hotel delivers big time. Rooms are airy, beautiful and well appointed. The roof-top pool, long enough for laps, affords spectacular vistas of this booming city. Most of Bangkok's happening restaurants are nearby. (We tried Paste, Bo Lan, and Gaggan--all of them sensational). Rates include a delicious breakfast. The nearby skytrain eases travel around the city. Take a business card from the hotel desk just in case you need to take a cab back. The Cabochon is tiny and not necessarily well known.

Villa Song Saigon: "Elegance and class in a beautiful setting "

Review by: Allymac7175 | Source: tripadvisor.com
What a gorgeous hotel, dark wood floors, marble, elegant art work and that view....all make for one very chic launch pad from which to see Ho Chi Minh. We only had one night here but we will be back. The breakfast was lovely, the transfer was super luxurious and the bed was heavenly. Come here, chill out and watch the saigon river roll past with a cocktail... You won't regret it

Pindaya Farm House: "Lovely place"

Review by: Trine D | Source: Trip Advisor
My husband and I stayed two nights at this wonderful and cosy place at the country side in central Myanmar. The service and accomodation was excellent and the food very delicious and well prepared. We can highly recommend this lovely place if you are looking for peace and quietness in a nice setting and possibilities to do hiking and biking in the surrounding hilly landscape.

Villa Song Saigon: "Great place with a great view"

Review by: Jacqueline C | Source: Trip Advisor
"We love this place, especially for breakfast or lunch or just a cup of coffee. Look out over the river and relax. We went here with my son of 6 months, they are very baby friendly. They provide a high chair and baby bowl. The staff is very helpful. The food is very good, we had breakfast there and that is great. Choice of different types of breakfast. For lunch we had fish and chips and a duck salad! Very good. Try it out!"

David’s Kitchen: "A wonderful experience"

Excellent french cuisine, friendly attentive service, beautiful surroundings. One of the best meals of my life.

Rachamankha: "BEAUTIFUL hotel in the Thai tradition"

Review by: Susan B | Source: Trip Advisor
It was great to experience the beauty of Thailand in the guest rooms, the restaurant and the gardens. The whole property feels zen and made for a very restful stay. The breakfast which was included in the price of our rooms offered many choices and everything was delicious. The service is impeccable and friendly. Every place we saw was kept clean and neat. It's an amazing place! I'll never forget it!

Glenburn Tea Estate: "In the Lap of the Gods"

Review by: Bilaspur | Source: Trip Advisor
"My father used to say that the third cup of tea put you in the lap of the gods. Glenburn epitomizes hospitality, beauty, quiet, rest combined with hosts who are enthusiastic and caring, facilities that are beautiful, food that is delicious and views that are incomparable. Our visit was the beginning of three weeks planned to see numbers of our 'bucket list' of hard to reach, but must see places. Glenburn is one of the top. Yes, the road to get there is a Thrill and an adventure but the deep comfort and sheer beauty soon make one not even think about it. The recent strike, which shut down the estate, made the tour of the processing plant quiet and dust free but still very educational. Would that we could return often. Shabash our Dhanyabhad!"

Maduzi Hotel: "Small, elegant, beautiful"

Review by: fadabing | Source: Trip Advisor
"This was the first time that I chose to stay in BKK at a smaller hotel. The choice is so varied and cheap in BKK that one is literally spoilt for choice. This one costs a little bit more but for that you essentially get a beautiful apartment like hotel room with every modern amenity and design feature. The breakfast is a pure joy in that it has the standard breakfast fair that most hotels do. The difference is in the quality and presentation. I felt loved and looked after by the staff who in quintessential Thai ways went out of their way to make me feel at home. Stayed December 2016, traveled solo"

Heritage Suites Hotel: "Breathtaking Wedding experience – highlight of our whole trip!"

Review by: Jonathan B | Source: Trip Advisor
"We stayed here between 17/12/17 - 21/12/17 as a party of seven and had the pleasure of having our wedding day planned and hosted by the brilliant staff at Heritage Suites Hotel. Oma, Nicolas, Teka and each and every member of staff, we can’t thank you enough for the hours of work, meticulous attention to detail, beautiful venue and exceptional level of service we had during our stay. You made our wedding the most memorable, intimate and spectacular day we’ve ever experienced, and it’s something neither we or our guests will ever forget. We won’t bore you with the long story, but basically, we decided to cancel our ‘home wedding’ and elope to the country that we got engaged in two years earlier (best decision ever!). As you would expect, we were quite nervous organising our entire wedding experience via email and Skype, having not seen seen the venue in person. We went back and forth with the team, sharing information and pictures until both sides were confident that we would get the wedding that we wanted. Throughout the entire process, Oma, Nicolas and Teka couldn’t have been more attentive and helpful, answering all of our questions (sorry guys!) until we fully understood each element of our wedding and stay. If you are reading this and thinking of having a wedding ceremony in Cambodia, PLEASE, you should seriously consider using Heritage Suites Hotel as your venue of choice - you won’t regret it. Highlights include: - The quick transformation of the hotel ‘alley’ / atrium into a beautiful walkway & altar was nothing short of astonishing. The whole place had beautiful white decor, flowers (lotus & rose), with an amazingly decorated platform at the end where the ceremony was held. - The organisation of external services was exactly what we wanted. Makeup & hair was great, the photographer / videographer (Oyen Rodriguez & his team - check his stuff out on YouTube!) was phenomenal, amazing buttonholes & bouquets, an extremely charming and well spoken registrar called Mourad (who looks like Hugh Laurie!) to lead the ceremony. - We had the flexibility of tailoring our own ceremony including our own vows, readings and words in a ‘Western style’ and incorporating a Buddhist blessing given by some local monks which we and our guests enjoyed thoroughly. - More food and drink than you could ever want! The men and women enjoyed a light breakfast separately, before canapés & drinks in the lobby after the ceremony , more canapés & champagne during sunset, and a beautifully cooked dinner on the evening. - We couldn’t decide between having tuk-tuks or jeeps… so we had both! Each type of transportation were dressed up for the occasion including flowers, ribbons, signage (our initials) and tassels. - Our transportation took us out to ricefields and other scenic locations for photographs before arriving at a pier on a beautifully still lake (Trav Kot) for sunset canapés and champagne. - Our final destination was the real show stopper. Teka from Heritage Adventures (sister company of Heritage Suites Hotel) worked with us to organise a luxury camping experience and dinner by a remote temple called Banteay Ampil. Our jeeps pulled up and we were greeted by smiling staff who provided us with necklaces and bracelets made from the Jasmine flower. Venturing further into the campsite, we were surrounded by thousands of tealights, relaxing and having welcome cocktails in a ‘chill out’ area (think lots of cushions, throws, low sitting sofas, fire pits). The luxury tents were incredible - better than our house back home! We could go on for hours as the team organised so much more (on this day, and the rest of our time with them). We seriously couldn’t fault anything - each element was provided with 100% effort and the full team delivered everything with a smile. It felt as though they were genuinely happy for us, and enjoyed being part of our wedding experience. No text, pictures or videos could do the whole experience justice, and we feel quite smug that only the seven of us will ever know what it truly felt like during these special couple of days. Aside from our experience from a wedding perspective, the hotel and level of service as a guest was fantastic. The rooms were immaculate, tastefully decorated, spacious and comfortable. The restaurant food during breakfast, lunch and dinner was plentiful, tasty and well-priced. We were never left wanting, with staff always on hand to make sure we had everything we needed. If anybody would like to speak to us further, feel free to contact Heritage Suites Hotel and ask for Jonathan & Katherine Birch’s contact information) - we’d be more than happy to help! Thanks, Mr & Mrs Birch"

Reverie Siam: "THE place to stay and dine in PAI"

Review by: PHWalker | Source: Trip Advisor
"Sublime comes to mind. I have stayed here before, I have dined here before and I will again, I almost don't wnt to share this good news with you all as it is getting harder and harder to book but well it's a place that has to be shared. From the family that designed, built and manage Reverie to the team the take care of you they really cannot do enough to share their home with you...and what a home. There can no better place to be than sat in their bar and restaurant, enjoying a long cool drink looking out across green fields to the river and mountains beyond and slipping into Pai time...truly a place for reverie. I joined a dinner party by the river here too, 40 of us, a demanding crowd no doubt but faultless service. Delightful setting, great food (you have to try their tapas) and a superb musician to accompany dinner - guitar and keyboard player, brilliant...actually Pai has quite a lively music scene, even one of the owners at Reverie is a drummer with a local band."
