Tugu Bali: "Loved this hotel!"
"For the record , this is the first time I've ever given a 5 star rating ! This hotel was awesome! Especially the staff . So welcoming and friendly. When we first arrived , the Assistant Manager , Ari greeted us with a welcome beverage and introduction to the hotel . There was a dinner show going on at the time in the lobby so we're able to watch while we waiting for our room to be ready . When we were walking to our room , it was like being in a garden temple , so much culture and greenery and art work , it was like a museum Of Bali culture and art. Nice walkways , bridges , areas to have romantic dinners , etc and close to the beach . I can't say enough about the room! Our own pool! How unexpected! And an out door swing and outdoor bathroom with a fish pond surrounding it. So serene. It was off-season so the hotel is very quiet , no parties or loud music which we loved. They also have a lovely pool area, afternoon tea, cooking lessons, and great restaurants . Our favourite was the outdoor barbecue restaurant overlooking the surf where we had the most perfect view of the sunset . I would definitely highly recommend this hotel , loved it, thank you ."Amata Lanna: "Wonderful Hospitality"
My parents stayed at the hotel earlier this year for a few nights. Both of them are in their mid-seventies and still fit and able. However, they appreciate a little extra comfort and service, and this is exactly what they received at the Amata Lanna. They loved the amenities, the food, the location and most of all the staff. Keep up the good work guys!!!Rachamankha: "Tranquil and elegant oasis"
This is an aesthetically pleasing, extremely quiet and comfortable hotel with luxurious accommodations and a welcoming friendly staff. Our family of four (two grown children) stayed in a two bedroom suite connected by a spacious living room with a kitchen stocked with place settings to allow an evening in with delicious take out food from the neighboring chicken (Thai) place. The beds are wonderfully comfortable and the pool and included breakfast were lovely. Very special and highly recommended!Babe: "Awesome, loved it!"
The moment we walked in, we were pleasantly surprised by the wonderful direct view of the KL skyline. We went on a Tuesday and we had the entire restaurant to ourselves (hint to romantic couples!). We had to pay a non-refundable deposit for our reservation, probably because the restaurant needed to prepare the ingredients which were really top-notched. We took the 11 course tasting menu, and everything was quality, unique, pretty and delicious!! There were cool surprises in between too. It was an awesome experience!Satri House: "Lovely place to stay"
Great location, 10 minute walk or 3 min tuk tuk to town and night market. Staff very friendly and helpful. Excellent pool side, dining and room service. Lovely room, four post bed, timber finish, spacious ensuite. Definitely a return visit. Thank you to all the staff. You helped make our trip to LP even more enjoyable.Tugu Lombok: "Lombok at its very best"
"My partner and I have just returned home from a 12 night stay with the Tugu family. We spent 6 nights in an Aloon Aloon villa and 6 in a Svarga villa. Both rooms were large, with comfortable beds, good (partial outdoor) bathrooms, great air conditioning, and everything you could possibly need or wish for (except a hairdryer, which wasn’t a major problem). We booked airport transfers through Tugu which were like mini tours in themselves, we saw the monkey forest en route to Tugu and the beach roads on the way home. The welcome we received from every single member of staff was warm, genuine and gracious. The gardener even presented me with flowers every morning as we walked to breakfast. We enjoyed 2 different massages at the spa which were both very good, and one was complimentary. Both restaurants were great, and the food was consistently excellent, always well presented and with daily specials too. One evening we ate on the temple roof which was a lovely experience. Tugu arranged 2 trips for us, a panoramic waterfall walk and a day trip on the dragon boat to the Gili islands. We enjoyed both, but particularly the Gili trip; as we are novice snorkellers Nana and Sama our guides were very patient and we had a brilliant day and spent hours snorkelling around the coral reefs and saw many turtles. On my birthday the staff sang to me and gave me a lovely cake, and our room was decorated brilliantly with animals shaped from towels and candles and flowers. It was very special. An even lovelier surprise was they did the same thing the next night, which was our last night at the hotel! A completely different selection of animals made from towels. We enjoyed every moment of our time at Tugu. It is a peaceful, friendly, welcoming hotel which we hope to return to many more times. It is quiet, relaxing, maybe not for those seeking a wild nightlife as it is quite remote, but that is exactly what we wanted. Thank you particularly to Henry, Elly, Ruslan, Mahmud, Dedy, and Ige(?) Agus. We don’t recall the name of the towel arranging experts but they should have their own TV show just about towel arranging! We can’t wait to return to Tugu. Thank you again to everyone for such a lovely stay."Locavore: "The best restaurant in Indonesia"
After 7 years living in Indonesia I would say that this is probably the world's best restaurant of Indonesian cuisine and Indonesia's best restaurant. Aspirational, creative, sophisticated, surprising ... and truly local. This is not a copy of something else.Maduzi Hotel: "Best and Super cozy hotel around schumvit road"
"I am KHUN Kim who stayed for 4 days from January 26th to 30th. As with the last visit, all the staff were friendly and the hotel conditions were excellent. I do not know if you remember me, but I stayed on the M floor. I guess Especially three staff members will remember me. It was a good memory, and I will visit again next time. In particular, can the three people contact me? I would like to have a small present for the next visit. I would like to write a name of staff members ... even though I asked for a name, but I forgot hahaha. I hope to see you soon. MR KIM who loves bkk in Korea. Stayed January 2017, traveled as a couple"Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "Fantastic! A must to be here"
This camp is one of my best experience during my journey in Sri Lanka. I can really recommend this place. Everything is very good organized, everyone from staff is very friendly and the food is fantastic! Best food ever in whole Sri Lanka. Price is absolute justified. Safari trip was very nice too, staff is very competent, even on safari are drinks and snacks organised!Chakrabongse Villas: "Wow!"
This must be one of the finest residences I have ever stayed in. Imagine you are in the centre of Bangkok right by Wat Pho (totally frenetic) but inside the hotels grounds is a sea of calm and tranquility and right in front you have your own deck right on the banks of the Chao Praya river. Fantastic. We also chose to eat at their restaurant one night, for non residents there's a 3 month waiting list. The food and service were superb. The hotel also has its own long tail boat on which we had a 2 hour sunset trip, bumpy but amazing!
