Heritage Suites: "Beautiful Oasis in this Amazing Place"

Review by: JJTales | Source: Trip Advisor
The wonderful feeling of this hotel began at the airport when you are collected in a vintage Mercedes - they give you a cool wet towel and a long cool drink. The hotel is slightly off the beaten track but it is such a beautiful place to return to at the end of a day of sightseeing and the peace and tranquility are priceless. We would not stay anywhere else. The staff were so accommodating (even when the roads outside flooded and they had to sandbag the entrance). The General Manager was always around and smiling and was so interested in what the visitors had to say. We had a bungalow which is larger than you will get anywhere else and had all the conveniences you could want or need. The pool and the food just completed the entire wonderful package. I didn't want to leave

Nimmu House: "Charming, peaceful, warm and stunning"

Review by: 870laurentl | Source: tripadvisor.com
"Difficult to say what is best: the house? the tents? the whole staff? the location? the views? We had an amazingly fulfilling 7-day stay at Nimmu House. Met some great people. Had some great long chats. Had beautiful walks. Even had a very nice bicycle ride. The beauty of the valley and the surrounding mountains, the feeling of equanimity. It is pretty hard to beat such an experience."

Cuisine Wat Damnak: "Delicious Food and Amazing Service"

Review by: juliencL6229EN | Source: Trip Advisor
Very original dishes mixing French and Cambodian savours. Great results as all the dishes we had were really delicious! The atmosphere of the restaurant is remarkable, spacious and traditional, perfect for romantic dinner. Last but not least, across all the restaurants I was lucky enough to try in Asia, I hardly met people as dedicated and nice than at Cuisine Wat Damnak. I can't eat a wide variety of food, and it can be particularly tricky specially for fishes (some I can, some I can't)... Carole Salmon was kind enough to follow-up with me days in advance to accommodate the best meal possible, and proactively warning me about sauce I could eat or not. Cuisine Wat Damnak was recommended to me by my friends who traveled in Siem Reap before me, and I will do the same to anyone who go there - if there is one restaurant to try, that's really it!

Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Idyllic stay"

Review by: Rachel R | Source: tripadvisor.com
The perfect place to relax for 2-3 days at the end of a holiday in India. Very comfortable and spacious bungalows set widely apart in landscaped grounds right next to the Arabian Sea. The sea was rough while we were there so we took advantage of the pool area instead, which was quiet and peaceful - some of the bungalows were unoccupied but I don't imagine the hotel is ever noisy/busy. This is a place to relax and unwind. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and we appreciated little touches like the leaving gifts and the postcard that arrived for my birthday 4 months later! Will definitely visit again one day.

The Cabochon Hotel: "Great service"

Review by: Annnabel | Source: Trip Advisor
Cute hotel, a different vibe to anything else in bkk. Can't fault the service, such lovely people working there! Amazing French toast for breakfast too. Clean and comfortable! Rooftop pool was always quiet and excellent, might just need a bit more shade.

Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "history"

Review by: MarkW1960 | Source: Trip Advisor
"If you want that historical experience then this is the place to get it. there is no luxurious Hilton Hotel room but the charm & historical feeling is all worth it. The room is enormous & the bathroom although has modern shower taps the decor is from the era long gone. service is great & the food was good as well. Breakfast was included & consisted of buffet of fruit & cereals & a la-cart hot breakfast & first time I had a hotel say to me after I had finished my breakfast ""have you had enough, would you like some more?"" The house is also a museum & has daily tours & is very interesting to learn about the history of the house. its close to a lot of attractions including the wharfs & a short distance to all the famous Panang street wall paintings & art. Stayed December 2016, traveled as a couple"

tugu bali: "Great service, friendly atmosphere, and beautiful property"

Review by: Rose805 | Source: tripadvisor.com
"Service was outstanding from my arrival until my departure. Wonderful welcome, complimentary welcome drink and afternoon tea with tasty cakes. Stayed in the Dedari suite which had a nice private pool and outdoor shower area, with a separate room for the toilet. Spacious room, comfortable bed, beautiful flowers, and a nice fruit basket. I cannot stress how wonderful and accommodating the staff was! Had plenty of help bringing all my bags to my room and also had a bicycle which I had forgotten was muddy from my long ride that day. I asked if they had a hose where I could wash it and they were kind enough to take it and wash it for me, have never had that type of service anywhere! Food was fabulous! Enjoyed the ""Royal Tugudom"" dinner experience, a ""Grand Ceremonial Dining of the Majapahit Kingdom"" with our own ceremony and huge feast in the ""Bale Puputan"" room. There were only 3 of us so it was way too much food, would have been better for a larger group of people, but what an experience it was! Got treated as royalty and more great service during dinner, was truly a great meal. Breakfast was wherever we wanted it- in our room, on the beach, inside, in the garden, really anywhere. We chose a shady spot in the garden which was perfect and had a nice breeze. Enjoyed the beach afterward and a nice dip in my room pool and the main hotel pool. Lots to enjoy at this hotel! Wish we had more time to explore the area and all the amenities and history of the hotel. To top off our great stay we received a departure fruit basket with water for each of us to enjoy on our drive to the airport. Thanks to everyone at the hotel for a great experience and wonderful stay! Hope to return one day... "

SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge: "Really worth a visit"

Review by: Till W | Source: Trip Advisor
This is gonna be a review of superlatives. Seeds is one of the - if not the - most memorable expirience we had in Myanmar. The restaurant is relativly new and was built to the dining palace it is today in merely 11 months. The food is exquisite and unique, the service is fast, very polite and attentive and the setting is just beautiful. We took the Chef's menu and it really was a journey. The prices are in the upper class but we spent every dollar gladly. Will definitely visit again if possible.
