This is an amazing place in the middle of tea plants, facing the Himalayan chain. 3 cottages colonial style house 8 rooms or suites. Diners can have the whole site, read and sip tea at any time (including just wake up before breakfast ...), admire the scenery, walk around the plantation, join the river in against-low (2 -3 hours on foot), try the massage with tea oil (I recommend), a drink in the library lounge with the other guests and continue to exchange over a meal each evening with a different theme. In short, a quality of life that is found rarely and makes an incredible good! "We loved our 3 night stay at Satri House. Hotel Manager Jacques and his staff were offering free drinks and canapés at the poolside bar on our first night at the hotel which made for a lovely first impression. We found the decor and service perfect throughout our stay. Sure, some staff didn't have perfect English but they made up for it with their friendliness and professionalism. All our requests were dealt with promptly and efficiently. If you're looking for ambience, comfort and tranquility, look no further. "We visited the Sanak retreat as the final leg of our Bali honeymoon. The views are stunning. The cabins are simple but have everything you need. The service & food are both excellent. We loved the place. Only thing that spoilt it a bit for us was the weather but as you can see from pics, when the sun is shining it's glorious. Setting, history and fusion of Asian and western flavours on the menu. This place has simply gotten things right. The service is amazing - staff constantly surprised us with their foresight and attention to details we sometimes forgot eg offering bottled water for our bike ride, calling ahead re our flights, farewell gifts, organising and accompanying us on our trips out, closing our window shutters in the evening, offering blankets when it got cold dining outside. It goes without saying that the resort is beautiful with spectacular views of the lake and the furnishings and design are tasteful. Decent selection for breakfast with something new each day. Homemade yoghurt was delicious. Dinner and lunch menus were also different each day - food was all tasty but wholesome and clean. The rooms are huge and comfortable. Only regret is we should have booked a lake view room, well worth the extra dollars!VILLA SONG SAIGON: "Just Wonderful"
"We loved staying here. It is a beautiful oasis in the middle of a bustling city. They service was impeccable! They allowed us to check in early and check out VERY late which was so convenient for us. They have a wonderful scheduled boat that takes you to the center of Saigon in 15 minutes which was just so fun. The idea that you can have your free breakfast any time of the day is perfect! They scheduled a tour for us and we were picked up right on the hotel's dock. The pool was nice and quiet. This was a gem. David greeted us when we arrived and appeared genuinely interested in where we came from. Menu offered a broad range of dishes from local Thai to European fare. If you have guests who have different tastes, this is definitely the place to go. Service was personalized and attentive. Food was tasty and absolutely delightful. Great selection of wine and the bartender was accommodating to my partner's request for a specific drink mix. Chill environment amidst the high energy of old Chiang Mai. This was a beautiful experience of a tradition Hanok in the heart of Bukchon. The property is intimate and secluded, with only a few 'rooms' placed around a small central courtyard. Every detail carries style and has been carefully set out to create an escape to a simpler past. The underfloor heating made sleeping on the floor surprisingly comfortable. The service was unintrusive, helpful and gracious, breakfast and dinner served each day with Korean hospitality of generosity and flair. We loved everything about Rakkojae. The location so close to some great historic sites, galleries and design spaces was a bonus!Mie Cafe: "Lovely Dinner"
We had a lovely dinner here, staff are polite and friendly. We ordered the friend fried, fish amok, grilled pork and the red wine. Will come back next time.
