Maison Polanka: "Hidden Garden Gem with classic French Charm"
"Greeted at Siam Reap airport by Frances, a very pleasant young man from Masion Polanka private Villas, the chauffeur van waiting, was very comfortable and spacious. Being whisked away through the pleasant Cambodian countryside, arriving at Maison Polanka where a large security gate opened up the most tranquil garden tucked away within 5 minutes of Siam Reap town. We strolled through to reception, a cabana located by the large enticing pool, being greeted by local staff with refreshing hand towels and a long cool drink. Nothing was too much trouble for them, we were given Khmer House a stand-alone elevated original colonial home relocated some years ago to this site, that complemented the master house with its four self-contained luxury rooms. Our stay was magical, the food memorable, the decor was elegant and traditional, with a simple and personal touch from Nathalie (the owner) adding a splash of colour to each room is unique in its creation, Nathalie selects these from her collection of fabric designs out of her stores. We took cooking classes with Maison's Chef and relaxing massages on site, along with local tours to Ankor Wat and many other historic sites. Arriving back for afternoon tea by the pool every day at 3 Pm with freshly baked treats from the kitchen. Maison Polanka fulfilled every expectation of a luxurious holiday and more, we felt very special. Thank you so much for sharing your small space in paradise, we were so sad to have to move on continuing our holiday in Cambodia."Maison Polanka: "Best hotel I’ve stayed at"
My boyfriend and I stayed here for four days and everything - from the food to the service to the rooms - was perfect. The staff works hard to make your experience perfect. The Green Room is beautiful as are the grounds and the pool. I've stayed in several hotels in several countries and this one is by far the best I've stayed at. Every detail is impeccable. The staff also helped us coordinate our tours to the temples and packed picnic breakfasts. Shoutout to our tuk tuk driver Vong - we loved him!Mie Cafe: "The best in Siem Reap"
We had dinner in Mid Cafe on the last day of our trip. As we had many disappointment in the days before, so we had no expectation but this restaurant surprised us. Every dish there were perfectly cooked and flavoured. The restaurant has very nice setting and excellent service! We highly recommend to book a table at this restaurant during the stay in Siem Reap. We hope to come back again!Tugu Malang: "Historic and romantic stay"
"I had a very memorable stay in this beautiful hotel full of antiques. I dressed in my traditional Javanese outfit and Roberto shared with me the stories of the hotel and art pieces. We toured the spectacular Presidential Suite and all the halls and pavilions. The various rooms in the restaurant are full of amazing drawings reproducing old precious photos of prominent figures in history. Wood panels reproduces religious subjects from Asia and beyond. They all create an eclectic atmosphere of luxury and well travelled. (...) The highlight of each day was meeting Barry, Elaine and Rosemary from Australia and having tea and sweets at the hotel while chatting about travels and lives. Thank you to Roberto and John for taking care of me and would love to return again."The Village House: "Gorgeous little place"
"I really LOVED it here. It's no 5 star Marriott or anything... But the staff are super hospitable, accomodation very clean and comfortable. The pool and relaxing areas are great and the food is good-okay. Around the accomodation, there is not very much to do. You cannot swim at the beach located 100m down the street as there may be crocodiles. Apparently the sunset is nice from there though. I stayed in a six person dorm for 123 RM, but it's cheaper on the Agoda website I've been told. This is a great place to relax, swim (the pool is GREAT!), read and relax. Stayed January 2017"Hotel Tugu Lombok: "SUPERB HOSPITALITY AND ESTATE"
"As soon as I arrived I was welcomed with smiles and friendly greeting from the staffs. What a breath taking beautiful property it is. As far as you can see, your eyes are pampered with calm white sand beach, huge garden and unique, antique and magistic buildings . The menu in the restaurant are combined western and Asian cuisines and it came in generous portion. The room was big, faboulous and very detail facilitated. Open, green and spacious bathroom. The service and the hospitality of each staff there is the top. Super friendly, very helpful and professional. I forgot to bring my daily meds somehow, and they managed to get them in the farmacy which I could tell was not so nearby. So relief that they could get it exactly in same day! So, thank you Tugu Lombok family! For the best staying in Lombok!! Hope to see you all again. "Nimmu House: "Hidden Gem in Ladakh"
"We booked to stay at Nimmu House at the beginning of our holiday in Ladakh. We spent three days acclimatising here before we went off on a 6 day trek through the Markha Valley and then returned for one night before heading off to another destination in the region. Nimmu and the surrounding area is absolutely stunning and it was wonderful to be away from the hustle and bustle of Leh. We were able to relax in the beautiful and very peaceful gardens of Nimmu House and the accommodation itself was just lovely - we were staying in the tents which were situated in the apricot and apple orchard. The tents were very well equipped with lovely comfortable beds and linen, beautiful interiors and fabulous bathrooms. The attention to detail was fantastic. The hospitality of the Nimmu staff was never ending and the food was out of this world! We were very sad to leave this absolute gem and can't wait to return next year! Thank you to everyone on the Nimmu team who made our stay such a warm and welcome one."Les Maisons Wat Kor: "Amazing service"
Stayed here for two nights and loved every minute of my stay. I was welcomed and made to feel special for the duration of my stay. The rooms are relaxing and the resort very pretty. The staff were so polite and I was even given a birthday cake from the hotel. I would recommend this hotel as they will make you feel so welcome and take care of you.Rachamankha: "Our Third Stay And It Keeps Getting Better"
"The key to this 24 room gem is tranquility and solitude. The owner has this down to a science. The staff are quiet but friendly if you want them to be. The service is impeccable. The Rachamankha is an oasis of calm. Not a good venue for a family with pre teens. We upgraded to a deluxe room this time from a superior room. Was a lovely experience."SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge: "Just Sensational !"
"This restaurant would STAND OUT anywhere from its pure white Zen architecture with its giant wall of glass & bamboo roof overlooking the Inya Lake in Yangon its pure perfection. We arrived for dinner and decided to have cocktails outside by the lake filled with water lilies. Perfect Yuzu Sours & fresh blended juices so good you could of drunk them all night, we were so happy and oblivious to time it was just us and the lake.Although happy the restsurant was full but with its spaced tables its just you ! We were offered the choice of seating inside or on the upper terrace which we chose. They offer two set menus of four or five courses plus a la carte. We selected the Lotus menu which offered more seafood/fish options. Presentation was modern and beautifully simplistic with each mouthful an explosion of perfectly balanced flavours. We chose four courses appetizer soup main with a choice on all and desert, we could of added cheese. Its European with a touch of Asian ingredients but the sauces that dot the plate are super and bring out the Asian taste. They offer a very nice wine list and some super wines by the glass. This is One superbly run restaurant, everything has been thought out with impeccable friendly service. Dinner was so good we came back for a late Sunday lunch and was able then to really see how beautiful the setting was. To the Chef & the beautiful Lady owner Thank You xx "
