Muang La Lodge: "relaxing and wonderful experience"

Review by: Bglaurent | Source: Trip Advisor
"It was the best hotel reception and introduction from the staff I received in years. Charming, relaxing, and unexpected activities. The hotel staff, dinning experience has been a delight. I would recommend to stay at least 2 nights, have time to appreciate the food, unique hot spring bath, and trips proposed by the hotel..."

tugu malang: "Best hidden gem in Indonesia"

Review by: Sarah W | Source: tripadvisor.com
"We're currently living in Jakarta, and sometimes you need a little getaway from the Big Durian. Malang is it - and this is the hotel to stay in. I loved everything about this place. The hotel staff are really friendly - arranging early check in and late check out with no problems and playing with my baby. The rooms are gorgeous, really comfortable beds, huge beautiful bathroom with really nice products, and wood floors (great for a crawling baby). The grounds are like a museum with so many places to walk and explore. The hotel is located in a very walkable location and the hotel staff are helpful with recommendations. The restaurant has the best Indonesian food I've had in Indonesia. They'll modify for vegetarians - try the Nasi Campur. The breakfast that's included is also incredible - you can order off the menu and take from the buffet - all included! The coffee is amazing - we took home 2 bags of beans, very reasonably priced. The afternoon tea that's included offers a wonderful selection of Indonesian snacks to try and great tea and coffee. They include a welcome massage of 15 minutes, and we bought a full massage, which was really high quality and totally worth it - and reasonably priced. "

Satri House: "Paradise in Luang Prabang. It makes the greatest choice of this trip."

Review by: Rubychan84 | Source: Trip Advisor
"This isn't going to be an easy review as there were many great points and didn't want to be missed. Hospitality was superb. GM Giovanni, Julie, and the team from Satri House were professional, helpful, attentive, always eager to make our stay better as possible. Room and ambience were exceptional. Room was spacious, clean, in colonial. The bed and pillow were very comfortable and clean and I had slept very well. The turn down service and snack was a great touch. Restaurant served one of the best food we had in Luang Prabang, we dined here every day throughout our stay for lunch and dinner due to the quality we can be assured of. None of the dishes we ordered has disappoint us. GT pasta, mekong fried whole fish, red curry with duck, lemongrass stuff pork were our favorite. Price was very reasonable too. Breakfast was great with fresh bakery and jam handmade by themselves. I missed the pineapple and tomato jam so much, they were really delicious. The service crew were very attentive and always eager to help. To an extend, they were flexible to cook fried noodle which was out of standard breakfast compliment menu for my husband as he requested. To sum up, every thing seem to be very well thought for guest in all aspects. From giving choice of welcome drink and to have it in library or inside room, putting straw hat (1 for male and 1 for female) in guest room and benches besides swimming pool, mini movie room with complimentary pop corns, library room, using natural lemongrass essential oil to repel mosquitos, decorations with antiques, it was truly an amazing experience not to be missed. Thank you once again to the whole Satri House team for making our wedding anniversary stay a truly memorable one."

Bassac Cruises: "Delightful, personal trip down Mekong"

Review by: Sallie M | Source: Trip Advisor
"The boat (Bassac II) was just fabulous. We travelled at Tet, so the activities were slightly different than usual, but Tuch (spelling?) did a fantastic job. The village walk was surprisingly fun - the kids (we travelled with an 8 and 6 year old) loved it - and even ate the fruit at the end - a miracle! The rooms are so sweet. The food was lovely, and plentiful! The staff were all nice -but special shout out to Tuch. Engaged and entertaining, and knowledgeable. The boat has beautiful detail. The pace on the boat is very relaxed. We absolutely loved it. I recommend for people who enjoy relaxed, informal, but engaged service; good honest food; small groups; and who are interested in seeing some of the Mekong."

Jing’s Residence: "Delightful hidden gem"

Review by: Maggie M | Source: Trip Advisor
A very special place, very comfortable, beautiful courtyards and stylish rooms and lots of little extras. We ate in both nights and food was very good. The staff were very welcoming and the breakfast was varied and good. There was afternoon tea provided. A very good experience.

"Grandes chambres, belles piscines, restaurant délicieux, service plein de bonne volonté, jardin et spa très agréable, beaucoup de goût dans la décoration. Prêt de vélos.Quartier calme. Probablement l'un des pus beaux hôtels du Laos. Stayed December 2016, traveled as a couple"

Cuca: "Tasty gastronomical food with okay price"

Review by: Ciantury O | Source: Trip Advisor
The place is super nice. This restaurant has enormous outdoor space that kids can play after or before they eat. The staff is also kid friendly and very polite. food wise, it tasted great. We tried the mushroom, fried chicken, soft shell crab and the fried chicken. All of them are tasty. The portion of the appetizer is small but for the chicken and soft shell crab, the size is a normal size portion, not tapas portion.

Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Idyllic stay"

Review by: Rachel R | Source: tripadvisor.com
The perfect place to relax for 2-3 days at the end of a holiday in India. Very comfortable and spacious bungalows set widely apart in landscaped grounds right next to the Arabian Sea. The sea was rough while we were there so we took advantage of the pool area instead, which was quiet and peaceful - some of the bungalows were unoccupied but I don't imagine the hotel is ever noisy/busy. This is a place to relax and unwind. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and we appreciated little touches like the leaving gifts and the postcard that arrived for my birthday 4 months later! Will definitely visit again one day.

Rice & Zen Boutique Resort: "Excellent"

Review by: cjbroadly | Source: Trip Advisor
"Seadance resort provided a very laid back and relaxing experience for us from the minute we arrived. The location is fairly quiet but a short cab ride will get you to anything the island has to offer, if that's what you want. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, the food in the restaurant excellent (great view over the pool and ocean), but above all the staff were excellent. They made us feel right at home, they were great with our two young boys (6 and 4) and clearly thought that nothing was too much trouble. It's fair to say the beach isn't awesome but it's still a sandy stretch where you can sit and watch the water, lie on a sunbed or let the kids play. We would go back to this resort."
