Nimmu House: "4 nights of sheer bliss"

Review by: VagabondOnTheMove | Source: Trip Advisor
"We spent a bulk of our stay in Ladakh at Nimmu House and it truly was the best decision ever. We stayed in one of the tents which was super spacious and extremely comfortable. The property itself is a picture-book-kinda pretty and we just loved hanging out at the patio or napping on the hammocks. But what makes Nimmu feel more like a home than a house is the fantastic team running the place. From the manager to the chefs to the wait-staff down to the housekeeping and gardeners, everybody is just really nice and welcoming and ready to help if needed. The best part about our stay here however, was the food. After some pretty average meals in the rest of Ladakh, the meals at Nimmu were just fantastic. Do yourself a favour and don't book just a single night here. Ideally, once you're done sightseeing and roadtripping, stop by here for at least 3 days of R&R...you won't regret it. The only one piece of feedback we had for the management/ owners was to invest in better power back up. With frequent power cuts, it's a must."

Mume: "Food is very delicious! I will visit again!"

Review by: Seok Ting C | Source: Trip Advisor
Currently ranked #43 on the Asia Top 50 Restaurants, food at Mume is very delicious. The menu is ala carte, and the selections are short and easy to decide. The cooking is European-Asian fusion. Using a combination of Taiwanese ingredients and Nordic influences to deliver a modern, light cuisine. All the dishes I ordered were very good. I wish to order more, but I had a big lunch and dinner at Mume was early at 6pm. Great service. Will visit again. The restaurant is small. Please make reservation ahead.

Tugu Malang: "Pleasant Surprise"

Review by: Cozzer63 | Source: Trip Advisor
Spent Christmas and New Year at the Tugu and was not sure what to expect as the hotel was fully booked. However, we received excellent service from the time we checked in to the time we checked out. The staff remembered our names and made a genuine effort to make us feel welcome. Despite the size of the hotel it retains a boutique feel. The sheer quantity and quality of the antiques warrant visiting the hotel for the guided tour even if you're not resident. The complimentary afternoon tea is a great experience. The downside is, because it is popular, it gets busy and seats aren't always available. Great looking spa, never got to use it though. Will definitely stay again - off season next time though.

Sukoon Houseboat: "Wonderful relaxing experience"

Review by: ElisabethDelhi | Source: Trip Advisor
The Sukoon houseboat is a super luxurious and comfortable houseboat. We had a wonderful time. The staf is super, very helpful and were really taking super good care of us. The breakfast on the sundeck was an absolute highlight. This houseboat is a bit away from the overcrowded part of the lake so you can really enjoy the beatiful view on the lake at sunset and sunrise!

Villa Song Saigon: "This place is amazing"

Review by: krneki40 | Source: Trip Advisor
"We have chosen this place thanks to TripAdvisor reviews and we were not sorry at all. It´s an old French villa next to Saigon river converted in a boutique hotel. The place is very relaxing, the staff is wonderfull and very friendly, the food is very good. They have a pier in front of the hotel and a speed boat that takes guests to Ho Chi Minh city several times a day. I highly recommend this place. It´s not the cheapest place in Ho Chi Minh, but it´s worth every $. Stayed April 2016"

Talabgaon Castle: "Iconic India"

Review by: kitten1051 | Source: Trip Advisor
"Beautiful heritage hotel. Extremely peaceful with helpful friendly staff. Nothing was too much bother. The hotel has recently been refurbished, but retains it's original features. Bedrooms are all en-suite with his and her washbasins and all modern conveniences. On arrival we were met by the owner who was extremely welcoming. There is a substantial pool. Food was well prepared and staff most attentive during a buffet dinner. Room Tip: Rooms are all quiet due to village location. Many first floor rooms look down on a fountained courtya..."

Inle Princess Resort: "Where time stops"

Review by: claudesonmez | Source: Trip Advisor
"This place cannot be compared to others. You arrive with a boat which engine is turned off before approaching the hotel. Someone comes on board to lead the boat to the shore. You then arrive in paradise. This hotel is located north the lake Inle. Rooms are large,so are the bathrooms with an outside shower. It can be cold at night but the hotel staff will kindly offer to light a fire in your room which will keep you warm all night. For us mosquitos were not a problem . Just remind to take anti mosquitos product with you: you are next to the lake so of course there will be some. You will enjoy breakfast looking at the changing light above the lake before starting your journey on the lake. The spa is hidden among flowers: do not leave before enjoying a treatment there . We loved it and plan to go back."

The River Resort: "Paradise at the Mekong Riverside!"

Review by: christiechoo | Source: Trip Advisor
This resort located nearby to Mekong River. We took a long tailed boat and go to this resort via river, instead of main road. This is a PARADISE, away from busy city and noise. The rooms are great, with nice interior design, overseen the river. The hotel offers 2 options of breakfast per person per day. It is a very relaxing experience to stay here, with surrounded by paddy field in the hotel garden.

Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "Do not miss out on this one"

Review by: Fang L | Source: Trip Advisor
"If you're planning your trip to SL then you MUST include 2 nights at Noel's Leopard Safari! Everything about the trip was fantastic! We had an ongoing joke during our safaris that the guides have called the animals in advance to tell them we were coming. Everytime we said ""It would be cool to see .... (insert animal here)"" they just miraculously appeared! It was quite mental actually. Leopard and jackal and sloth bear and monkeys and elephants and tons of birds and crocodiles and and and! The park is beautiful and the guides Say and Praneeth are so enthusiastic and they know everything about the wildlife and flora. It's really great to be with guides that clearly love what they are doing and have such great respect for our beautiful nature. The camp is luxury camping to say the least. We had the AC tent, hot water, plenty of plug points. They even have good internet connection at the lounge area. Pretty impressive for a camp in the middle of nowhere. Even the bugs were blissfully sparse when we were there. Heads up that this is seasonal off course. The experience was worth every penny!"
