Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "A bucket list adventure"
My husband and I stayed at Noel Rodrigo's Yala camp for 2 nights with our 2 daughter's aged 5 and 8. We all had a fabulous time! It really was a highlight of our travels around Sri Lanka. The camp site has a modern design, the tents make the experience more like "glamping" but without loosing the rustic and basic appeal. All of the staff were very knowledgable, accomodating and friendly. Our daughter's could freely explore, run and play freely in the Sri Lankan outdoors while my husband and I could read, relax and enjoy a a drink after our exciting Safari expeditions. The chef on our camp was amazing. The food we ate on the camp was colourful, fresh and so delicious. We were lucky enough to experience an abundance of wild life on our safari's including a lengthy leopard sighing. It was truly fantastic! I cannot recommend this experience, the staff and the quality of Noel Rodrigo's Leopard Safaris high enough.Pindaya Farm House: "Locally run delight of a hotel."
"Clean, simple rooms in a wonderful location, this small family run hotel is a perfect place to stay. The best food in the whole of our time in Myanmar cooked by our hosts. They offer trekking outings with packed lunch and cookery demonstrations, a real gem. If you want local people to benefit directly from your trip this is the place to stay."Maison Polanka: "EXCEPTIONAL HAVEN IN SEAM REAP CAMBODIA"
"My reply to the owner asking me about our stay ""Nathalie, we loved your maison from the instance that we entered the gatehouse until the moment that we looked back on the beautiful gardens as we departed for the airport. There was not an instance that disappointed and please let all of your team at Maison Polanka know that we appreciate the style and competence that they provided us during our stay. Thank you Thank you."" Maison Polanka is boutique with just 5 rooms in a walled garden setting. It is not for the budget conscious traveller and it is not expensive for the value provided. Room Tip: All 5 rooms are great and the gardens are so beautiful that I would be happy to stay in my tent ther..."Cuisine Wat Damnak: "Scrumptious, eclectic mix"
Went for an 8:30pm reservation and sat upstairs outside - which I would highly recommend. Exquisite tastes, friendly staff and chef, all that I had hoped for on my trip and a definite must-visit while in Siem Reap. Don't be deterred by the dark street on the approach - this place is a jewel in a very quiet area of Siem Reap.Maison Polanka: "Haven in a garden"
"We had a blissful stay for three nights. Staff was very friendly, helpful and made us feel at home. We stayed in the Yellow room which we thought was the best room in the main house as it was private, located right next to the shared coffee/tea making facilty and had a big, light bathroom. We arranged for two temple tours through the hotel and the guide allocated was informative and a terrific photographer. Choose this place if you want a quiet place off the touristy area but close enough to hop on a tuk tuk to Pub St in approximately 10mins!"The Hue House: "Không thể không quay trở lại"
Enjoy dining here with nice view over Saigon. Calm atmosphere. Super nice service and delicious Hue dishes.Inle Princess Resort: "How disappointing"
"We travelled by car to the resort because our boat transfer was cancelled due to poor weather. We finally arrived at the resort down a dirt track and parked under a lean to. We were greeted by a young gentleman who said he would take us to our room. I had to ask if we were in the right place as it looked nothing like the photos on the net. He assured me it was. As we progressed, it soon became obvious that we had come in the back entrance. Our feelings went from total disappointment to one of elation. Check in was simple and efficient. Our room was clean and spacious. I could comment that there was not enough light in the room, but the intimacy it provides is all part of the charm of the place. The staff were most helpful in all areas and their genuine happiness could not be faulted. Like most of Myanmar at this stage, the SMALL imperfections in most places when compared with other 5star establishments in the rest of the world are what makes its charm. The breakfast offering is most probably a bit average but adequate. We would happily stay again and have no problem recommending it for any other couple."The Village House: "Touch of Paradise"
What a wonderful place to stay - highly recommend it. Staff are wonderful and rooms clean and comfortable. Great food and pool/bar area. Lots to see and do in the area and transport to Kuching easily achieved . Looking forward to coming back in the very near future .Rak Ko Jae Seoul: "Wonderful Experience – Hanok in Bukchon"
This beautiful property tucked away in the Bukchon neighborhood of Seoul is an absolute gem! We had the opportunity to spend 3 amazing nites in the Rak Ko Jae, and during our stay we met Winnie, our fabulous and very accommodating host. She prepared amazing breakfastes and was so delightful to chat with. Loved our quaint sleeping quarters and the heated floors. Plus the supercool old school korean tub. So enjoyed just snooping around the amazing complex. I'm running out of superlatives to use! Also, check out the hot sauna, sweating until you cant keep your eyes open (in a good way!). We'll never forget our visit.
