Cuisine Wat Damnak: "ONE of the BEST Meals Ever"
I was able to get in here because of a cancellation and brought my entire family of six to dine. We all did the 6 course meal and we all were over the top with the fabulous dishes that came out. I've eaten at many top restaurants in the U.S. and this is absolutely in similar class BUT it's so much less expensive. On average, we were spending $135 for 6 of us to dine at mediocre restaurants highly rated in Siem Reap where we spent $200 here with bottle of wine and beer for an over-the-top dining experience. "After staying at a different Tugu Hotel in Lombok I decided to stay here while wanting to visit Mount Bromo. The staff and service here as well as food was excellent! Also the Spa if you are a couple go for the couple's option of 4 hour massage treatment as it's well worth it to try out. If you are wanting to visit Mount Bromo the hotel can arrange a private Jeep to take you there and back which is great and the guide and the driver were very helpful and super polite. Certainly make this a consideration if you are visiting Malang. Just to let you know that its around 2.5hrs drive from Surabaya to the hotel which they can arrange for you too."Sea Dance Resort: "excellent"
It's rare to be compelled to write a review before leaving a property but in terms of value for money, service, food and atmosphere Sea Resort really deserves immediate praise. When you know the names of the staff, and they yours, within hours of settling in you know you are on to a winner. If you enjoy great breakfasts, beach front dinners, chilled out family friendly boutique style digs then I reckon this could be right up your street. On an Island that is , sometimes, decidedly hit and miss in terms of the Quality/Cost/Service ratio Sea dance delivers on all three.Thanks Poy. Helen, Kent and Faith and Staff. Spent 3 nights there with my wife. Beautiful place, quiet, beautiful scenery, very good service. The terra cotta restaurant has a fantastic and huge breakfast. Rooms are comfortable and quiet. Easy to get to Ubud center by motorbike, takes 10 minutes.Rahai’i Pangun: "Best jungle boat experience"

"We went here after getting a recommendation from someone staying at our hotel in Nusa Dua. We went for lunch and it was. Wet quiet on the midweek day that we went. I think the place would be buzzing for dinner. We sat inside in the Air-conditioning and we were served by great staff who explore menu very well and gave recommendations on how to get the best out of our experience. Drinks and cocktails were awesome and the food was perfect. My 8 year old was well catered for and we had ample food, cocktails and a couple of beers, kids meal which came to about $130. Like all the other reviews I can only agree that Sea Dance is very special. From the moment of arrival to the sad departure 7 days later we were so well looked after. Poy,Faith and the team went out of their way to help. Never intrusive but always there if needed with recommendations and support. We left feeling we had made good friends. So, the accommodation was great, we had villa 30 and it was very private. A short walk to the excellent restaurant where the service is exceptional and the food delicious. The setting by the sea is magical and the swimming pool is beautiful. Facilities in the villa have everything covered from comfy bed to lovely toiletries.Locavore: "Michelin worthy!!"
"Wow I came to Locavore with my girlfriend on an evening were the the rain was truly pouring and we were drenched as we walked in. My girlfriend and I had the tasting menu which was outstanding. The staff knew every aspect of each dish and I hope the chef gets the staff to taste the dishes because their knowledge seemed that they had as the waitresses and waiters really did know their stuff. Lovely atmosphere and great staff. Good attention to detail. Great tasting food If this restaurant was in Paris or London it would have cost near £300, however with it being in Bali it was just over £100. Great value for such good quality. "We traveled to Bali last month to celebrate our anniversary and chose Tugu for it's authenticity and location within Bali. And, we were blown away by the level of service that Jenny and the amazing staff provided. The natural beauty of the property and the genuine hospitality of the Balinese people were far above our expectations. Tugu is an excellent choice for an authentic experience that is in one of the best spots in Bali for beaches, surfing, yoga, anything. Not nearly as crowded in Canggu as in other parts of the country. Additionally, we had a bad experience with the airlines on the way in to Bali and my wife was missing her luggage for days. The amazing team working the front desk went above and beyond calling the airport, arranging transportation and ultimately helping us her our luggage back.
