The Cabochon Hotel: "fantastic atmosphere"

Me and My Filippo we spent a 4 fantastic days in the Cabochon Hotel, really familiar atmosphere in a very stylish and classy place. As soon as we arrived we feel the particular hot and friendly character of the persons that manage the hotel. thank you and I hope to get there really soon.

Rachamankha: "Such a beautiful and a tranquil place to stay"

"Stayed in this beautiful hotel this week and had a perfect family vacation. A definite 'must stay' if you want a peaceful and quiet place to go back to after your afternoon shopping and activities. Love their no small kids policy. All the staff greeted you with a smile every single time. Although one of the restaurant's waiter is always 'moody'. The hotel is just 5 minutes walk to all the shops, massage spas, various temples, including 'Wat Phra Singh', Tha Phae Gate, 10-15 mins walk to Saturday night market and 5 mins walk to the Sunday night market. Oh, you MUST spend at least 1 full weekend, ie Saturday and Sunday, in Chiang Mai to enjoy the weekend night markets. What else could you ask for? Just love the place. NASA"

Satri House: "Wonderful stay in a beautiful oasis"

"We loved our 3 night stay at Satri House. Hotel Manager Jacques and his staff were offering free drinks and canapés at the poolside bar on our first night at the hotel which made for a lovely first impression. We found the decor and service perfect throughout our stay. Sure, some staff didn't have perfect English but they made up for it with their friendliness and professionalism. All our requests were dealt with promptly and efficiently. If you're looking for ambience, comfort and tranquility, look no further. Stayed February 2017, traveled with family"

Babe: "Wonderful"

"Probably our favourite restaurant during our travels in Vietnam and Laos. Beautiful setting, it is as attractive as it looks on the photos! Excellent service and fantastic food. We went for dinner and enjoyed it so much that we returned for our last lunch before embarking on our home ward journey. We had a la carte, great sausage and pork balls for starters and good chicken curry and stir fried buffalo. Also had one of the set tasting menus which was delicious. Interesting cocktails! Definitely the best in Luang Prabang. It's a little way from the centre of the town, but well worth the journey."

Tugu Lombok: "Fantastic"

"This has to be one of the best places we have ever been. So relaxing & looked after with great surroundings with also plenty of things to do with the kids. That is what a holiday is all about. The beach is so clear and perfect for kids as is not too deep! The architecture in this resort is breathtaking and the rooms are luxuries. When you walk in you will be amazed! Plus the food is very good, love the breakfast and everything is so fresh! We will be back! Stayed January 2017, traveled with family"

Sukoon Houseboat: "Perfect luxurious houseboat, great service, food and location"

We booked the suite at the back of the boat which was very quiet. Babu the waiter was fantastic. The food was really great, had the best momos (even in Nepal/Tibet they are soggy and poor quality). The little motor boat to take us to and from the shore was perfect. Definitely take a little Shikara for an hour's boat ride. Take time to relax and enjoy the houseboat though. Good book and some Kashmiri tea, perfect.

David’s Kitchen: "Good food good Ambience"

A lovely surprise in Chiang Mai. Good food and service and a great night out. French cuisine served in a semi formal setting. Personal attention to detail is impressive.

David’s Kitchen: "Superb! Chiang Mai’s Superior Restaurant"

"Living in Chiang Mai for part of the year, I'd heard about David's. All positive remarks, but really did not understand how truly exceptional this restaurant is. A friend took me to David's for a belated birthday dinner. I was in heaven! The setting and ambience was elegant yet very comfortable. The service impeccable! I suggest their simple field greens salad and then go for the gusto...snails, duck, pork Asian style. And! My favorite desert is Creme Brule ....it was fantastic. Yes, it is more expensive than most restaurants in CM....but we are talking 5 stars here. In my estimation nothing compares to David's ...in Chiang Mai. The Very Best! Make sure you book a day or do in advance."

Tugu Malang: "The best hotel in the world + Unique Indonesian Vibe"

"I have been in countless hotels of all styles. Tugu made it to the top of my preferred stays list impressing me not for a day or two, but for 20 days of the perfect treatment and incredible structure. They have a touch of kindness and detail everyday! Little fresh flowers in your room. Complimentary local fruits. Impeccable cleanliness. Gorgeous traditional decoration. Little message every night. You have a spa, with different types of treatment available. A temple, business convention center, 24 h international and local restaurant/ bar with more than 150 wines, bakery, event center, swimming pool, boutique, antiques shop, all surrounded by a collection of the finest Dutch and Indonesian artifacts. 49 rooms served by 100 happy smiley team. You will feel like a king. And they all speak good English! Go if: you like to stay in a place that you can feel like home. With kind helpful people. And different options for relaxation and meals. In a very traditional unique atmosphere. Don't go if: you are a lean freak and prefer to stay in an international chain with no personal treatment. Attention: you can ask for a tour in the hotel. For free! Visiting (and maybe staying) in the presidential suit is pure entertainment. Congratulations to all staff, but special thanks to Rachel, Richard, Ratna, Daniel, John, Aris, Wahyu, Handy and all the girls from the front desk. Never change!"
